Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG DN Art Lens to be Announced Soon

It seems that Sigma will continue to announce the DG DN series lenses designed exclusively for mirrorless cameras. Recent rumors indicates that the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG DN Art Lens will be announced soon.

As part of the Art line within Sigma’s Global Vision series, this lens is designed to achieve truly notable optical performance and is ideally suited for creative and artistic applications. The Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG DN Art Lens is suitable for APS-C models where it provides a 53mm equivalent focal length. Constant f/1.4 maximum aperture is particularly well-suited for working in available light conditions and provides extreme control over depth of field.

Fujifilm XF 18mm f/1.4 R WR Lens is on the Horizon

According to latest rumors, the Fujifilm XF 18mm f/1.4 R WR Lens will be announced on April 15th, 2021.

The Fujifilm X-mount Lens Roadmap shows this wide-angle and a telephoto zoom lens. So we already know these lenses would be XF 18mm f/1.4 lens and the XF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 OIS lens. Fuji enthusiasts met the XF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 OIS lens earlier this year. Now it is rumored that the XF 18mm f/1.4 lens will soon be announced.

Pictures of the new Canon RF 100mm f/2.8 L MACRO IS USM lens

Here are the first leaked pictures of the upcoming Canon RF 100mm f/2.8 L MACRO IS USM lens. This is one of the three new Canon mirrorless lenses that should be announced in the next few weeks.

The announcement of the macro lens will happen along with the other two telephoto lenses: RF 400mm f/2.8L IS USM lens and RF 600mm f/4L IS USM lens. Canon RF 600mm f/4L IS USM, RF 400mm f/2.8L IS USM and RF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM Macro Coming Soon

Canon will soon announce the RF 600mm f/4L IS USM, RF 400mm f/2.8L IS USM and RF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM Macro lenses.

According to the latest rumors from Nokishita-C, Canon will officially announce three new RF lenses in late April.  

  • Canon RF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM Macro
  • Canon RF 400mm f/2.8L IS USM
  • Canon RF 600mm f/4L IS USM

Canon RF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM Macro lens is probably the most requested new lens for the RF mount. Canon RF Lens Roadmap already includes the  but this will be better for its aperture and focal length. bout the price tag we can clearly say that RF 100mm f/2.8 IS USM Macro Lens will cost $2,000 at the least.

According to recent reports, Sony FE 14mm f/1.8 GM Lens is coming next. This Sony FE 14mm f/1.8 GM lens will be the world’s fastest 14mm full frame lens in Sony G Master (GM) arsenal, so it could be very expensive.

Latest Canon RF Patents : RF 12mm f/2.8, RF 14mm f/2.8 & RF 20mm f/2.8 Lenses

Here are the latest Canon RF patents for its full frame mirrorless camera system. These lenses are the RF 12mm f/2.8, RF 14mm f/2.8 & RF 20mm f/2.8 Lenses and all of them are not in the lens roadmap.

Pentax K3 Mark III Release Date Scheduled for Next Week

The highly anticipated Pentax K3 Mark III is now scheduled to be released next week. Here is the story.

Ricoh was set to launch the camera during the CP+ 2021 event, however, the launch of the Pentax K-3 Mark III APS-C DSLR has been delayed. This was due to a parts shortage.

Now according to rcent reports, the new Pentax K-3 Mark III Body, PENTAX K-3 Mark III Kit & Battery Grip D-BG8 have been added to overseas dealers and will be available for pre-order next week.

The K-3 Mark III camera will have a new 25.73MP APS-C CMOS image sensor. ISO will range from 100 all the way up to 1,600,000 and the camera will feature sensor-shift image stabilization. The Pentax K-3 price to be around $1,999.

Several new Pentax products, including the K-3 Mark III, are already listed at a dealer/online store and will be available for pre-order next week:

  • PENTAX K-3 Mark III camera body (black/silver)
  • PENTAX K-3 Mark III lens kit (black/silver)
  • PENTAX battery grip D-BG8
  • PENTAX hot shoe cover O-HC177
  • PENTAX eye cup FU

The Pentax K-3 Mark III firmware with Eye-AF also seems to be finalized according to multiple posts at the Chinese forum Xitek.

100MP Canon EOS R Camera to be Announced in 2022

Canon’s next high-resolution RF mirrorless camera could be over 100MP. According to recent reports a new 100MP Canon EOS R camera is apparently in the pipeline.

Just weeks after the Canon EOS R1 rumors surfaced, new Canon speculation revealed that the company is likely working on a 100MP EOS R camera.

We previously reported that the Canon EOS R5S high-megapixel camera is being tested by a very select group of photographers as a finished product. The R5s will feature a new 90MP sensor, which doubles the 45MP sensor of the Canon EOS R5. But now it seems it seems there is a possibility for even higher sensor. At this point we can speculate the upcoming 100MP Canon EOS R Camera could be the previously rumored EOS R5s. More details after the break!

61MP Sigma fp L Mirrorless Camera with L-mount Coming

The 61MP Sigma fp L mirrorless camera with L-mount will be announced tomorrow, March 25th. According to latest reports the price of the Sigma fp L camera will be $2,499, the fp L EVF kit will be $2,999, and the EVF-11 will be $699.

First Images of the Sony FE 24mm f/2.8 G Lens

In addition to the newly announced FE 35mm f/1.4 and, Sony will launch several new prime lenses. One of them will be the FE 24mm f/2.8 G and here are the first leaked images of the wide-angle prime optic.

Sony will announce three new compact G lenses on March 23th :

  • Sony FE 24mm f/2.8 G Lens
  • Sony FE 40mm f/2.5 G Lens
  • Sony FE 50mm f/2.5 G Lens

Designed for Sony Full Frame E-mount system, these G lenses will have a relatively small aperture of F2.5 to F2.8, and can be used as pancake lenses.
