Nikon is developing NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 and NIKKOR Z 40mm f/2 Lenses

The NIKKOR Z lineup continues to expand at an unprecedented pace, with an evolving roadmap that includes a wide variety of planned lenses. To address consumer requests for small, sharp, high-quality prime lenses, Nikon is excited to announce the development of the NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 and NIKKOR Z 40mm f/2, two compact and lightweight FX-format lenses. These lenses are scheduled for release within 2021.

The NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 will be a wide-angle prime lens ideal for everyday snapshots and street photography, while the NIKKOR Z 40mm f/2 will allow users to enjoy a natural field of view and dramatic bokeh. Nikon Nikkor Z MC 105mm F2.8 VR S and Nikkor Z MC 50mm F2.8 Macro Lenses

Nikon officially announced two new Nikkor Z MC mirrorless macro lenses: the Nikkor Z MC 105mm f/2.8 VR S and the Nikkor Z MC 50mm f/2.8. These new macro lenses are the first native Z mount Nikon lenses to provide users with a 1:1 reproduction ratio.

The NIKKOR Z MC 105mm f/2.8 VR S and NIKKOR Z MC 50mm f/2.8 will be available in late June 2021 for suggested retail prices (SRP) of $999.95 and $649.95, respectively.

New Nikon Product Announcement Scheduled to Happen Around June 2

It is said that Nikon will be announcing a new product next week, possibly 2-3 June 2021.

According to the information we have previously reported, Nikon is planning to announce the entry-level Nikon Z30 APS-C format mirrorless camera in the lower segment of the Nikon Z50. This Nikon Z30 camera will most likely NOT have an electronic viewfinder. If the APS-C mirrorless camera comes true, we should see some new DX mirrorless lenses with it.

Rumors : Updated Nikon Z9 Specifications

According to the latest Nikon Z-mount lens roadmap, Nikon is fully committed to the future of the Z system, with a total of 27 great lenses and 2 teleconverters to be available at the end of 2022. This time we expect at least one mirrorless camera and four Z-mount mirrorless lenses.

Nikon Z6 II Sensor Review: Familiar sensor performance (94 Points)

DxOMark completed their full in-depth review for 24.5MP BSI sensor inside the Nikon Z6 II camera. According to their sensor review; the Nikon Z6 II achieved an excellent overall DxOMark sensor score of 94 points, with a combination of 24 bits color depth, 14.4 EV dynamic range, and 3303 ISO low-light score.
