Leica has announced the D–Lux 7 Street Kit aimed at travel and street photographers. The US price is $1,549 and it is now in stock and shipping at B&HPhoto.
Leica is now offering its D-Lux 7 Black camera version in a “Street Kit”. The camera kit includes a hand grip, a black paracord wrist strap (made by COOPH), a lens cap with automatic opening mechanism, and a spare battery, which are ideal as light luggage for street photography and when traveling.
The new Street Kit gets most of its features from the black-finish Leica D-Lux 7. Looks like a more rebranded Panasonic LUMIX LX100 II, the Street Kit D-Lux 7 offers a 17MP Four Thirds sensor with a Leica DC Vario-Summilux 10.9–34mm F1.7–2.8 ASPH lens in front (24 – 75mm full-frame equivalent).
