Tokina issued another update on the compatibility of Tokina F-mount lenses with Nikon Z 6, Nikon Z 7 and Nikon Z 50 mirrorless cameras.

Nikon has released a new firmware update for the Nikon Z6 and Nikon Z7 full-frame mirrorless cameras.
Updating the Z6 and Z7 to firmware version 3.00 adds a new Animal-detection AF feature to the current Face/eye-detection AF. Subject tracking has also been modified to function more like the 3D-tracking feature in Nikon digital SLR cameras and support for additional CFexpress memory card brands has also been added. Techart releases the TZC-01, an adapter that makes it possible to mount and use autofocus Canon EF lenses on Nikon Z6 and Z7 cameras
Techart says the TZC-01 will work with EF-mount lenses from Canon, Sigma, Tamron, Tokina and Zeiss. In addition to ‘native’ autofocus performance, the lenses will also maintain aperture control, stabilization features and EXIF data. Nikon officially released the firmware version 2.20 for Nikon Z6 & Z7 which adds support for CFexpress memory cards and paid RAW video upgrade.
The main update is that Z6 & Z7 now support CFexpress memory cards, currently only Sony CFexpress cards are fully supported by Nikon Z6 & Z7.
Nikon also announced that Z6 and Z7 owners can send their cameras to a Nikon Service Center for a paid upgrade ($200) to add Raw video output.
The RAW video output capability upgrade will be included free of charge as part of the Nikon Z 6 Filmmaker’s kit bundle: Adorama | B&H Photo | Amazon.
