Venus Optics has released the Argus line of f/0.95 prime lenses. There are five new manual Laowa lenses, including three for full-frame camera systems, one for APS-C camera systems and one for Micro Four Thirds (MFT) camera systems.
Laowa has unveiled f/0.95 prime lenses that comprise its new Argus line – three for full frame, and one each for APS-C and Micro Four Thirds cameras. Venus Optics lenses are sold at Adorama and B&H.

During their CP+ event, Panasonic executives confirmed that they are considering revolutionary new zoom and prime lenses for the GH5 successor camera (Panasonic GH6).
Panasonic is rumored to announce the Lumix GH6 Micro Four Thirds camera sometime in 2021. Earlier Panasonic rumors claims that there will be three models GH6V, GH6 and GH6X. Below some highlights from the presentations and the video.

The “GH5 successor” has become a hot topic, but we are steadily considering it.
Robin Wong pubished a video and says that he disagrees. He thinks Micro Four Thirds is the best balanced system format moving forward, being truly small and compact in size and delivering high quality images. Also, camera sales (regardless of brands and formats) have been drastically declining over the years.
It is not difficult to predict that the camera making business will not be sustainable, and the only way to move forward and survive this, is for the camera manufacturers to co-exist with smartphones to continue to drive sales to the industry. Kamlan announced a new KamLan KL 32mm f/1.1 manual focus lens. The lens will be available for APS-C and Micro Four Thirds system cameras. The lens will be available for Canon EOS-M, Fuji X, Micro Four Thirds and Sony E mount camera systems. It measures 70mm (2.8”) in diameter, 92mm (3.6”) long and weighs 600g (1.3lbs).
We have some fresh speculation that the Panasonic GH6 camera will likely be capable of shooting 8K video. Sony’s new Micro Four Thirds sensorwith 8K video is rumored to be in development and expected to become available in 2021.
