Nokishita published several new images (back and front) of the upcoming Canon EOS R3 mirrorless camera.

Canon announced the development of the EOS R3 full-frame mirrorless camera on April 14. We expect the official announcement in the next couple of months. The Canon EOS R3 mirrorless camera is also listed at B&H Photo. Price to be around $5,999.

In case you missed it, the EOS R3 will be the first Canon camera with a stacked backside-illuminated sensor. It is the first of its kind developed by Canon for consumers.

The Canon EOS R3 sensor may not be produced by Canon

According to a recent interview with Canon executives, the upcoming Canon EOS R3 camera is apparently not the EOS R flagship. We already covered this information here. So we can easily predict that Canon is planning to release another Canon EOS R model as flagship which could be EOS R1.

Canon also confirmed that they will not share the RF mount with other manufacturers. In case you missed it, the EOS R3 will be the first Canon camera with a stacked backside-illuminated sensor. It is the first of its kind developed by Canon for consumers.

So if you wonder who makes the Canon EOS R3 sensor; from the interview we can say it is developed by Canon but not manufactured by Canon.

Canon EOS R3 Rumored to Feature 45MP with Quad-Pixel AF

Here are the first set of Canon EOS R3 Specifications. According to latest updates; the already in development Canon EOS R3 will feature 45MP image sensor with pixel-shift and Quad-Pixel Autofocus. 

We know that the Canon R3 will feature a new Canon-developed back illuminated stacked CMOS sensor. The sensor will be powered by DIGIC X imaging processor, 30fps burst shooting with AF/AE tracking, an integrated grip design with professional levels of weather-proofing.

Sony A1 vs Canon EOS R3 size comparison

As you know Canon has revealed the first details of its high-end EOS R3 pro mirrorless camera. As you can see from the product image, the new Canon EOS R3 features a large, one-piece design with an integrated vertical grip, much like company’s 1D-series DSLRs.

Canon EOS R3 Camera Now Listed at B&H

Canon has announced the new EOS R3, a high-speed mirrorless camera, aimed at professional sports photographers, with weather-sealing, a new Canon BSI CMOS sensor and Eye-AF control.

Canon EOS R3 Camera Now Listed at B&H. Here’s what we know so far.

Canon EOS R3 will be built around a Stacked CMOS sensor and will use Canon’s Dual Pixel AF design. It will also offer Eye Control AF, which uses the position of the photographer’s eye to select the initial position for autofocus or subject tracking.

Nikon Z9 competitor Canon EOS R3 Pro Appeared

Nikon Z9 competitor Canon EOS R3 Pro appeared; here are the first details. Nikon Z9, which will be the best and ambitious player in the mirrorless camera market of Nikon, then EOS R3 Pro appeared on Canon side.
