Fujifilm X-T30 II, XF 33mm f/1.4 & XF 23mm f/1.4 R LM WR Officially Announced

Fujifilm officially announced the new Fujifilm X-T30 II mirrorless camera, XF 23mm f/1.4 R LM WR Lens and XF 33mm f/1.4 R LM WR Lens.

The X-T30 II is the same as its predecessor, except for its higher-resolution LCD (1.68M-dot versus 1.04M-dot) and additional memory. The latter allows it to perform as robustly as the X-T4.

The X-T30 II does not include a battery charger and will come in silver and black. It will be priced at $899 body-only, $999 when paired with the XC 15-45mm F3.5-5.6 power zoom and $1299 with the 18-55mm F2.8-4 lens.

Fujifilm GFX 50S II & GF 35-70mm f/4.5-5.6 WR Lens Officially Announced

Fujifilm officially announced the new Fujifilm GFX 50S II medium format mirrorless camera with the Fujifilm GF 35-70mm f/4.5-5.6 WR Lens.

The 50S II is largely similar to the GFX 100S, but with a lower resolution sensor and a lack of 4K video capability.

The US price of Fujifilm GFX 50S II is $3,999 and the Fujifilm GF 35-70mm f/4.5-5.6 WR Lens is priced at $999. Shipping is scheduled to start October 21, 2021.

Fujifilm X-T30 Mark II Features Will Not Include IBIS

Official announcement of the Fujifilm X-T30 Mark II is expected to happen soon. According to latest reports, the mid-range APS-c mirrorless camera will not feature IBIS tech.

Fujifilm will hold a major announcement event on September 2nd. In addition to the  Fujifilm X-T30 Mark II, the company will also unveil the Fujifilm GFX 50S Mark II, GF 35-70mm f/4.5-5.6 lens and the new XF 33mm f/1.4 R WR and XF 23mm f/1.4 Mark II lenses on September 2nd.

Sony a7 IV to be Announced in October 2021 w/ 33MP Sensor!

The Sony a7 IV camera is rumored to be announced by the end of October 2021. The announcement of the Sony a7 IV will be delayed due to the worldwide chip production shortage.

According to latest Sony rumors, the Sony a7 IV will use a newly developed 33MP full-frame sensor and 5-axis SteadyShot INSIDE sensor-shift image stabilization. This IBIS tech will be effective to minimize the appearance of camera shake by up to 5.5 stops, 4K 60p video recording as well as a $2499 price tag and more.

It will be interesting to see how far the dynamic range and readout performance of this newly developed sensor will evolve in Sony A7 IV. In addition, the image stabilization has been improved from the current 5 stops of the Sony a7 III to 5.5 stops, which is equivalent to the Sony a7R IV.
