Tamron has officially annnounced the new Tamron 150-500mm f/5-6.7 Di III VXD (Model A057) for FUJIFILM X-mount mirrorless cameras. It is a compact and versatile super-telephoto zoom lens well suited to capture a wide array of subjects ranging from landscapes and birds to sports and wildlife photography.
This new lens costs $1,499, first available for pre-order atB&H Photo.
Meike announced a new manual lens for APS-c mirrorless cameras the Meike 50mm F/0.95.
The US price of the Meike 50mm F/0.95 is $250 and available for Canon EF-M, Fujifilm X, Micro Four Thirds, Nikon Z and Sony E-mount mirrorless camera systems. Check availability at Adorama | B&H | Amazon.
The good news is Tamron confirmed that the 17-70mm f/2.8, a highly popular standard zoom lens, will be announced soon for Fujifilm X series APS-c mirrorless cameras.
Tamron already announced that in terms of lenses for Fujifilm X mount, they plan to launch next a a standard zoom, a wide-angle zoom and a telephoto zoom. It’s highly likely that the Tamron 11-20mm f/2.8 DI III-A RXD will be another lens that Tamron will launch, but the telephoto zoom that they mentioned is still unknown for now.
