Panasonic to announce a new LLumix S 24mm f/1.8 mirrorless lens for L-mount. This wide angle prime lens has been on the Panasonic L-mount roadmap for a while.  See all current Panasonic L-mount lenses.

  • Minimum shooting distance: 0.24m
  • Maximum shooting magnification 0.15x

Sony a7C Firmware Update Version 1.01 Released

Sony has released a new firmware update for Sony a7C mirrorless camera. The Sony A7c firmware version 1.01 fixes an issue where the information displayed in the viewfinder may not appear in the correct position.

IBIS Comparison: Canon EOS R5 vs Sony a1

Sony has incorporated In-Body Image Stabilization (IBIS) in their cameras for many years while Canon first bring the IBIS last year into their camera (Canon EOS R5 and Canon EOS R6). So the question, is Sony’s IBIS better than Canon’s?

The-Digital-Picture has completed an exhaustive IBIS comparison between the Sony a1 and Canon EOS R5 to find out the results. You can find the IBIS capabilities of the Canon R5 (AmazonB&HAdoramaagainst the Sony a1 (AmazonB&HAdorama).

Nikon Z9 to Feature New 45MP BSI Sensor and 160 FPS Burst Capture

Here are some new details about the upcoming Nikon Z9. According to recent reports, the high-end full frame camera feature 45MP stacked sensor (probably made by Sony) and use the same battery as D6. Nikon Z9 will also offer 160 FPS Burst Capture.

Sony ZV-E10 Vlogger Camera Announced

Sony has announced the first Alpha series interchangeable lens vlog camera, the new ZV-E10.

The US price is $698 and shipping will start by the end of August 2021.  The Sony ZV-E10 is available for pre-order at B&H & Adorama.
