Sony Notice to The Owners of FE 35mm f/1.4 GM Lens

As you remember, we have announced in previous articles that there will be a delay in the delivery of the Sony 35mm f/1.4 GM lens. A notice letter explaining the reason for this was submitted by Sony.

According to this, Sony Hong Kong notified that the early batch of lenses may have an issue with the ornament plate. Those lenses will now be repaired for free.

Here are the first Sony FE 35mm f/1.4 GM Lens images that have been leaked on the web recently.  The official announcement will be on January 13 at 15:00 London time.

In a recent video review of Nikon Z7 II by Dpreview TV, it seems that the Sony 35mm f/1.4 GM Lens (SEL35F14GM) lens has been leaked.

Sony’s prime lens with bright aperture was already among the Sony lenses expected for 2021. It seems that at the beginning of the year, the company will bring this lens to the end user. Sony is expected to announce the new 35mm f/1.4 GM lens on January 13 at 15:00 London time.

Sony a9 III 8K Camera Rumored to be Announced in Early 2021

Sony will allegedly announce a new Sony a9 III 8K camera in early 2021. Although the official announcement date has not yet been announced, this top-of-the-line full-frame mirrorless camera is expected to appear in the first quarter of 2021.

Along with the Sony A9 III, the company also registered another model that will probably be the highly-anticipated Sony A7 IV model. Here are the upcoming Sony Cameras and Lenses in 2021. The company is planning to announce several new cameras for E and FE-mount and optics especially GM series models.

The two models on the horizon are the Sony a7 IV and Sony a9 III. The Sony a9 III 8K mirrorless camera is expected to be announced in the first quarter of 2021 (CES show on January 11?), while the highly anticipated Sony a7 IV is rumored to be announced in the second or third quarter of 2021.
