More rumored specs of the Canon EOS R5 Mark II have been leaked on the web. Amazing specs list and we hope to see became true. The second iteration model is expected to be announced before Canon EOS R1 (2024), most likely in Q2-Q3 2023.
According to the latest Canon rumors, this new camera will feature 61MP back-illuminated CMOS sensor, Dual DIGIC X processor with 8-stop IBIS.

Coming Soon : Canon EOS R8, EOS R50 w/ Two New Kit Lenses on February 8th

Finally, some definitive rumors started to come on the Canon side. Canon will announce two camera bodies very soon alongside the recently uncovered Canon RF 24-50mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM.

The long rumored Canon EOS R8 will be announced, along with the Canon EOS R50. If we’re going by the information in this post, the Canon EOS R8 will be full-frame and the Canon EOS R50 will be APS-C and will likely be the evolution of the EOS M system to the RF mount.

There is also another STM lens coming with these cameras, the Canon RF-S 55-210mm f/5-7.1 IS STM. Here are the details :

Canon RF-S 11-22mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM Lens Coming in the first half of 2023

Canon is expected to release at least three new RF-S lenses in 2023, two of which will be based on existing EF-M models.

One of the lenses that is rumored to be launching in the first half of 2023 is an RF-S 11-22mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM. The EF-M version of this lens was a favorite of EOS M shooters when it was first released, and it remains a popular choice today thanks to its excellent image quality and affordable price.

Canon recently announced the new RF-S 18–45mm F4.5–6.3 IS STM and RF-S 18–150mm F3.5–6.3 IS STM that are designed to be paired with the new EOS R7 and R10 cameras. In addition to these products, Canon is rumored to announce several new RF-S APS-C mirrorless lenses in 2023.

At the moment, CP+ is also scheduled to be held locally, so what kind of new products will Canon announce for CP+? We’re looking forward to it.

Canon EOS R8 Will Be Announced at CP+ 2023 in February

According to latest Canon rumors, the upcoming Canon EOS R8 mirrorless camera will be announced around CP+ 2023 in February in February 2023 (February 23-26).

Reportedly, this Canon EOS R8 camera will have a unique “flippy screen” and will be outfitted with the same 24.2MP image sensor found in its older brother, the EOS R10. All signs point to the EOS R8 fitting nicely in the lineup between the EOS R7 and EOS R10. Canon EOS R5 Mark II Rumored Specs, Announcement in Q2 of 2023

Here are the very first Canon EOS R5 Mark II specs that has been rumored so far. The Rf mount full frame mirrorless camera is expected to arrive sometime in the Q2 of 2023.

You might think it’s too early to upgrade to the Canon EOS R5. Despite this, we have to admit that we are in a trend that gained momentum with the R6 Mark II. Canon won’t wait too long to update its RF mount mirrorless lineup. It’s fascinating to note that the sensor has been updated the same as the R6 II and has two DIGIC X processors. According to the latest Canon rumors, this new camera will feature 61MP back-illuminated CMOS sensor, Dual DIGIC X processor with 8-stop IBIS.

With the 61MP high resolution sensor, we believe 4K 120p and 8K 60p are unprecedented. However, if the below EOS R5 Mark II specs are true, this model seems a bit expensive. More Updates on Canon EOS R6 Mark II Specifications

Here are some more leaked information for the Canon EOS R6 Mark II specifications. The 2nd version of EOS R6 camera is expected to be announced soon.

More items have been added to the list of credible specs for the EOS R6 Mark II. Of these, “digital teleconverter” and “hybrid audio” are functions that are not used in the current model, and seem to be the first functions to be introduced in the R6 Mark II.

Rumors: Canon EOS R8 is the Replacement of EOS R

According to latest rumors by Chinese weibo, a new Canon EOS R8 now will be the replacement of Canon EOS R. Although there are rumors about the Canon R8 that it may be an EOS R (save $200) replacement, the general consensus is that the R8 will be a new full-frame mirrorless camera that will sit below the EOS R6.

Canon EOS R100 to be Announced Next

Good news is that Canon is planning to announce another new APS-C format RF mount mirrorless camera. The product in question is the Canon EOS R100. According to recent reports Canon EOS R100 to be announced in next several weeks, probably in later this year.

The entry-level RF mount will be the third model in the APS-C mirrorless camera lineup after the EOS R7 and EOS R10.  It is said that the Canon EOS R100 seems to inherit the form factor of past “EOS M” cameras such as “EOS M6 Mark II“. Canon EOS R1 Rumored to be the King of Resolution

According to the latest Canon rumorsCanon EOS R1 announcement is planned for the second half of 2023. We might see teaser ads from the spring.

In terms of features, Canon EOS R1 will be a new king of resolution and it will focus on 8K video production. We have also heard that the EOS R1 is a step forward in form factor and ergonomics, combining what you would expect from Canon’s flagship camera with some new features. Canon has spent much of its development talking to photographers, especially pros using the EOS R3.

Until now, we had no idea what kind of camera the EOS R1 would be, but since information has come out that it will be the “king of resolution”, if this is true, it will be at least higher than the 61 million pixels of Sony a7R IV.
