According to Olympus rumors, new OM Digital OM-5 camera to be announced soon with 41MP BSI live-MOS Sensor (total 47MP). The Micro Four Thirds camera will be capable of high-speed continuous shooting at 20 frames per second.
OM SYSTEM OM-5 is expected to be announced in July / August 2022, and it is rumored that it will not be the successor to the current “OM-D E-M5 Mark III“. This information is coming from several sources on the Chinese social media platform Weibo and from previous reports.

It’s constructed of 15 elements in nine groups, uses a seven-blade circular aperture diaphragm and has a minimum focusing distance of 70cm (27.5″). The lens’ autofocus (AF) is driven via OM Systems’ Movie & Still Compatible (MSC) system, which OM Systems claims ‘benefits both photo and video applications due to its smooth, quiet, and fast performance.’
