Confirmed: The New Sony APS-C E-Mount Camera Coming Soon

It is now confirmed that the new Sony APS-C format E-mount camera coming soon. The official announcement is expected to happen next week!

Just like the Sony ZV-1 replaced the RX100 series, this new Sony APS-C E-mount camera will not be named as a5xxx or a6xxx. It will use a new naming structure and will be the first APS-C E-mount camera of a new line. According to their sensor review; the Nikon Z6 II achieved an excellent overall DxOMark sensor score of 94 points, with a combination of 24 bits color depth, 14.4 EV dynamic range, and 3303 ISO low-light score.

Fujifilm GFX 50S Mark II Camera Coming on August 27

According to recent reports Fujifilm GFX 50S Mark II camera will be announced on August 27. So it seems that the Fujifilm camera with the code name “FF210001” that was revealed before is the Fujifilm GFX 50S Mark II.

The medium format mirrorless camera is expected to feature the same 50MP sensor as the current GFX50S, and it will be cheaper than the GFX 100S.

Rumors : Fujifilm X-T40 Will NOT Come before X-H2

Here is a recent talk about the Fujifilm X-T40 which will be the successor to the X-T30.

As you know, Fuji’s 2021 projection does not have a new X-series camera announcement. In other words, the company seems to complete this year with the X-E4 and X-S10 announced at the beginning of the year. Besides, we almost 100% confirmed that the next X series camera from Fujifilm will be the “Fujifilm X-H2“, which is rumored to feature a new sensor and new image processor. Rumored Sony a6900 / a6800 Specs

Sony will allegedly announce a new high-end APS-C mirrorless camera in late May 2021. According to new rumors this new camera will not be named as Sony A6700. The name of the high-end APS-C mirrorless camera could be either be named a6800 or a6900.

On the other hand we have some details about the Sony A6600 (Amazon, B&H, Adorama) successor camera. It seems that the upcoming Sony a6900 / a6800 camera will have almost the same body as the a7C, and it will be basically a Sony a7C with an APS-C sensor. The official announcement will happen in late May 2021, and it will replace the Sony a6600.

Upcoming Sony Cameras and Lenses in 2021

Sony a7R III A to Cost $2,799.99 and Sony a7R IV A for $3,499.99

The two small updated version of their current a7R III and a7R IV cameras: Sony a7R IIIA (LCE-7RM3A) and Sony a7R IVA (ILCE-7RM4A) will cost $2,799.99 and $3,499.99 respectively.

Both new models include several upgrades from the a7R III and a7R IV cameras. Pre-orders will start on Monday May 17, 2021 at Adorama and B&H. The Sony a6500 camera is now discontinued. The Sony mirrorless cameras was announced back in October 2016.
