Pre-order : Sony FX3 Cinema E-mount Camera

Now you can pre-order the new Sony FX3 cinema E-mount camera at major US stores: Adorama | B&H | Amazon.

The Sony FX3 is built around the same 12MP full-frame BSI-CMOS sensor as the a7S III and promises the same UHD 4K capabilities, including 60p capture from the full sensor width and 4K/120p with a slight crop. It offers the same choice of bitrates and codecs as the a7S III, meaning 10-bit 4:2:2 in a choice of XAVC HS (H.265) or XAVC S (H.264) with matching bitrates. It can also shoot XAVC S-I, an All-I H.264 format. It doesn’t have the DCI (1.89:1 ratio) options of the FX6.

The FX3 powered by the well-known Sony NPFZ 100 batteries used on cameras like the A7 III, A7R III, Alpha a6600, and A9 II.

FUJIFILM GFX100S Shipping Delay Notice

Fujifilm has issued an official statement, telling customers that the Fujifilm GFX100S won’t be shipping at the end of February like planned, but later. The reason is that the pre-orders exceed Fujifilm’s expectations. Hence, Fuji says it will “take some time” until they’ll be able to ship the high-end medium format camera.

The Fujifilm GFX100S price tag is $5,999 and available for pre-order from Amazon, B&H, Adorama in the USA. It will cost £5,499 in EU: AmazonDE / AmazonUK.

It shoot a DCI or UHD 4K video with internal capture at up to 400Mbps or a choice of 10-bit 4:2:2 or 12-bit Raw output over HDMI. The compact body is weather-sealed, has an OLED info displays on the top, and a fixed 3.69M-dot OLED viewfinder. Its dual-hinged 3.2″ LCD can tilt for both landscape and portrait photography. The Sony Alpha 1, A1 (ILCE-1) is a high-end full-frame mirrorless camera that was officially announced on January 26th, 2021. It is the most technologically advanced, innovative camera that Sony has ever released. Featuring a 50MP Stacked BSI-CMOS sensor and in-body image stabilization, the a1 offers blackout-free shooting on its giant 9.44M-dot (240 fps) EVF at burst rates of up to 30 fps. It has Sony’s latest autofocus system, with fast processing and face/eye/animal detection. The electronic shutter is designed to eliminate flicker and offers a flash sync of 1/200 sec (it’s an impressive 1/400 sec with the mechanical shutter).

Sony a1 captures oversampled 8K/30p at a bit rate of 400Mbps as well as oversampled 4K at up to 120 fps. The camera can record 10-bit 4:2:2 video, and supports S-Cinetone, S-Log2/3, and HLG Log formats. 16-bit Raw recording to compatible external recorders is also available. The a1’s body is designed to allow 30 minutes of continuous 8K recording.

Sony a1 now Available for Pre-order

The Sony a1 preorders are now open at all the major stores in US.  The price of the Sony’s flagship camera is $6,498 and available at Amazon, B&H, Adorama.

The Alpha A1 is Sony’s most technologically advanced camera to date and combines high-resolution and high-speed performance. Sony A1 uses a brand new 50.1-megapixel full-frame stacked Exmor RS image sensor and can perform up to 120 AF/AE calculations per second. Like the a7S III, it can shoot 4K at up to 120p in 10-bit 4:2:2 quality.
