Canon EOS R6 Achieves an Overall DxOMark Sensor Score of 90 Points

DxOMark published the Canon EOS R6 sensor review and test results. Finally they have completed their tests and review of 20MP sensor inside the Canon EOS R6 full frame mirrorless camera ($2,499). As a result the Canon EOS R6 achieves an outstanding overall score of 90 points, with a combination of 24.2 bits color depth, 14.3 EV dynamic range, and 3394 ISO low-light.

New Compact Fujifilm GFX 100s Coming in Early 2021

A new smaller version of the Fujifilm GFX 100 is on the horizon. According to reports Fujifilm is currently working hard on a new 102 megapixel medium format mirrorless camera that will be named “Fujifilm GFX 100S“.

New compact Fujifilm GFX 100s is rumored to be announced in early 2021. It will be a little smaller than the current Fujifilm GFX 100, and feature IBIS tech.

Leica SL2-S Full-frame Mirrorless Camera Announced, Price $4,895

Leica has announced the new Leica SL2-S full-frame mirrorless camera, designed for both stills and video. The new Leica SL2-S is the company’s third full-frame L-mount camera, and is the most video-focused yet.

The camera features a 24mp BSI CMOS sensor, unlimited 4K CINE (10-bit) video recording, and a 4GB buffer to allow for longer continuous shooting at 25fps. There’s also built-in in-body image stabilisation, a multi-shot mode to allow 96mp images to be taken, and weather-sealing.

Sony A7S III ISO Comparison Test Samples with A7R IV

Here are several Sony A7S III ISO Comparison Test Samples with A7R IV. Recently Dpreview added the Sony a7SIII to its studio comparison tool.

The results are quite impresive but we have to say that the Sony a7RIV seems to control noise better or as well as the a7SIII at 102,400 in some parts of the studio scene. On the other hand we can see some parts where the Sony a7R IV losses a lot of detail and the a7S III shines. You can see the high ISO examples of Sony A7S III here.
