According to the report, list of Canon products that will be announced on July 9, 2020 inlcudes Canon EOS R5, Canon EOS R6, several RF lenses, teleconverters, a wireless transmitter and a battery grip and more accessories. The official announcement of Canon EOS R5 and R6 will take place on or around July 9, 2020 ! Canon EOS R5, EOS R6, and 6 new RF lenses with 2 teleconverters now confirmed and to be announced on July 9th.
According to the source, the Canon EOS R6 body will start shipping in August, on the other hand Canon EOS R5 won’t begin shipping until September. Release dates may change due to Covid-19 pandemic but sooner or later we will meet these Canon full frame mirrorless products this Fall. Nokishita Camera has just confirmed that Canon will announce 8 RF lenses in 2020. The official announcement for these new RF lenses could coming along with EOS R5 and EOS R6 in early July.
Canon has already announced f/2.8 zoom lenses, so it is time for the company to release some cheap and light f/4 zoom lenses. Canon will also release at least one “crazy look-what-we-can-do” lens (like RF 50mm f/1.2 L USM) in 2020. There will also be at least one fast L prime and some non-L lenses in 2020. According to Nokishita Camera, Canon has just registered a new lens SKU 4234C005AA at Russia certification body. As previously posted Canon will release a total of 9 RF lenses & extenders, including RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM Lens (B&H, Adorama, Amazon), RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1L IS USM lens, Extender RF 1.4x, Extender RF 2x. Here are the Canon RF Lenses that are expected to be announced in 2020. According to recent reports these lenses would be the RF 10-24mm f/4L, RF 70-135mm f/2L, RF 35mm f/1.2L, RF 50mm f/1.8 M IS STM, RF 85mm f/1.8 IS STM.
