Price information has finally leaked out ahead of official announcement of the Canon EOS R5 (B&H/Adorama/Amazon) and Canon EOS R6 (B&H/Adorama/Amazon) and lenses.

According to the report, list of Canon products that will be announced on July 9, 2020 inlcudes Canon EOS R5, Canon EOS R6, several RF lenses, teleconverters, a wireless transmitter and a battery grip and more accessories. Canon EOS R5, R6 and More to be Announced on July 9

The official announcement of Canon EOS R5 and R6 will take place on or around July 9, 2020 !  Canon EOS R5, EOS R6, and 6 new RF lenses with 2 teleconverters now confirmed and to be announced on July 9th.

According to the source, the Canon EOS R6 body will start shipping in August, on the other hand Canon EOS R5 won’t begin shipping until September. Release dates may change due to Covid-19 pandemic but sooner or later we will meet these Canon full frame mirrorless products this Fall. Upcoming Canon RF-mount Lenses for 2020

Nokishita Camera has just confirmed that Canon will announce 8 RF lenses in 2020. The official announcement for these new RF lenses could coming along with EOS R5 and EOS R6 in early July.

Canon has already announced f/2.8 zoom lenses, so it is time for the company to release some cheap and light f/4 zoom lenses. Canon will also release at least one “crazy look-what-we-can-do” lens (like RF 50mm f/1.2 L USM) in 2020. The Canon RF 85mm f/1.2L USM lens now finally in stock and shipping at major stores in US. The price of the lens is $2,699 and available at B&H Photo Video/Adorama/Amazon.

Along with the Canon RF 85mm f/1.2L USM lens (B&H Photo Video/Adorama/Amazon) announcement, Canon USA also posted a comparison article between the RF 85mm f/1.2L USM Vs. RF 85mm f/1.2L USM DS. As you know the “DS” version lens will be announced in later 2019.

Canon RF Lens Roadmap 2020

Here is the latest Canon RF mount lens roadmap for 2020 and 2021 that has been shown to selected photographers. Canon’s plan is to release between 6 to 8 new RF mount lenses in 2020.

Rumors: Two More Canon RF Lenses Coming by the End of 2019

In addition to the 6 new RF lenses, Canon is rumored to announce two more mirrorless lenses in RF-series by the end of 2019 to early 2020.

Canon Announces the Development of Six New RF Lenses

Along with the new Canon EOS RP (B&H, Adorama, Amazon.) full frame mirrorless camera, Canon also announced the development of six RF lenses: RF 85mm F1.2 L USM, RF 85mm F1.2 L USM DS, RF 24-70mm F2.8 L IS USM, RF 15-35mm F2.8 L IS USM, RF 70-200mm F2.8 L IS USM, RF 24-240mm F4-6.3 IS USM.
