Here are the Canon RF Lenses that are expected to be announced in 2020. According to recent reports these lenses would be the RF 10-24mm f/4L, RF 70-135mm f/2L, RF 35mm f/1.2L, RF 50mm f/1.8 M IS STM, RF 85mm f/1.8 IS STM.

During the Canon EOS R5 development announcement, Canon also announced that there will be a total of 9 RF lenses coming in 2020, including already announced RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM Lens (B&H, Adorama, Amazon) RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1L IS USM lens, Extender RF 1.4x, Extender RF 2x.

Canon PowerShot G9 X Mark III to be Announced Soon

Canon will soon announce the new PowerShot G9 X Mark III compact camera . The mark third version will replace the current G9 X Mark II model.

Here are the rumored specifications of Canon PowerShot G9 X Mark III:

  • 20.1mp
  • DIGIC 8
  • 4x zoom
  • 4K @ 30p
  • FHD @ 120p

Looks like the upcoming  Canon PowerShot G9 X Mark III will be the PowerShot G7 X Mark III with a slower lens and a slightly smaller build quality.

Here is the latest patent for Canon RF 70-200mm f/4L Internal Zoom Lens.

The company already has the 70-200mm glass for RF-mount. It is their first RF mount internal zoom lens: RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Lens (B&H Photo Video/Adorama/Amazon). This lens turns out one of the best selling lenses currently. According to latest Canon Japan patent, Canon may also announce a new RF 70-200mm f/4L internal zoom lens.

Canon EOS Rebel T8i / 850D Leaked Images & Specs

First images and specs of the upcoming Canon Rebel T8i / 850D camera have been leaked online. The entry-level DSLR is rumored to be announced soon.

A New Kit Lens Is Coming to Canon Full Frame Mirrorless : RF 24-105mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM

Canon will release two new lenses for the Canon EOS R full frame mirrorless system in February 2020. One of the upcoming RF lenses is the RF 24-105mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM and it seems to be an affordable kit option for the EOS R system.

Currently, Canon full frame mirrorless system has the compact and lightweight Canon RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM ($1,099 at Amazon, B&H, Adorama), a standart-zoom lens which is a great performer that pairs perfectly with the EOS R.

Canon EOS R6 Rumored Specifications

Along with the Canon EOS R5 specifications, here are the first information about the Canon EOS R6 full frame mirrorless camera.

According to recent reports, Canon will also announce another mid-range FF MILC with 20MP sensor, IBIS and 12fps shooting speed. Canon EOS R6 specifications also include 4K video recording at 60p. 

The new Canon EOS R5 full frame mirrorless camera coming in February ahead of CP+ 2020 and the Canon EOS R6 to be announced in May, 2020.

Canon EOS R5 Specifications

Rumored Canon EOS R5 specifications surfaced over the web today.

The name of the upcoming Canon full frame mirrorless camera is almost clear and will be called the Canon EOS R5.  The first specs include a 45mp full-frame sensor, IBIS, 12fps mechanical and 20fps electronic burst. It will use a similar battery to the 5D Mark IV, can shoot 4K/120p video, and may even be able to shoot 8K/30p video.

New Canon Rumors: Three New Full Frame Mirrorless Cameras in 2020

New Canon rumors surfaced on the web. According to recent reports, the company will unveil three new full frame mirrorless cameras in 2020.

The first one is Canon high-megapixel full frame mirrorless camera which could be named as Canon EOS RS. It will be officially announced in February, before the CP+ 2020 event.

The second one would be a Canon full frame mirrorless camera price below the Canon EOS RP, could be named Canon EOS RM. Last year, Canon has already confirmed that this kind of camera is a possibility. Several compact and cheap RF lenses will also be coming along with this camera. Patent: Canon RF 24-100mm f/2.8L, RF 24-300mm f/4-5.6 and 24-85mm f/2.8L Lenses

Canon has filed three new patents for RF mount superzoom lenses with f/2.8 bright aperture. The patent application describes the Canon RF 24-100mm f/2.8L, RF 24-300mm f/4-5.6 and 24-85mm f/2.8L lenses designed for the company’s full frame EOS R system.

The Canon RF 24-300mm f/4-5.6 lens will be a consumer oriented glass and the focal range is ideal for travel photography. Canon previously filed several RF superzoom lens patents.
