Patent: Canon RF 24-100mm f/2.8L, RF 24-300mm f/4-5.6 and 24-85mm f/2.8L Lenses

Canon has filed three new patents for RF mount superzoom lenses with f/2.8 bright aperture. The patent application describes the Canon RF 24-100mm f/2.8L, RF 24-300mm f/4-5.6 and 24-85mm f/2.8L lenses designed for the company’s full frame EOS R system.

The Canon RF 24-300mm f/4-5.6 lens will be a consumer oriented glass and the focal range is ideal for travel photography. Canon previously filed several RF superzoom lens patents.
