Confirmed : Nikon Z9 (D5 Like) Z-mount Mirrorless Camera in the Works

Japanese business publication Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun made an interview with Nikon’s CEO, Mr. Toshikazu Umatate. In this interview he says a flagship mirrorless camera—equivalent to Nikon’s D5 DSLR—will be introduced.

There were rumors about the Nikon D6 DSLR camera that is coming before 2020 Olympics. There is a slight possibility that Nikon postpone the release of Nikon D5 successor camera, instead a high-end mirrorless sports camera could be unveiled in the name of Nikon Z9. More here. Rumored Nikon D6 Specs: 24MP, 4K@60p, IBIS

Here are the rumored Nikon D6 specs that has been leaked on the web. The upcoming flagship DSLR to feature 24-megapixel full frame sensor, 4K@60p and IBIS.

Nikon D6 and Canon EOS-1D X Mark III Coming Before 2020 Summer Olympics

Nikon and Canon are both rumored to release their high-end cameras before the 2020 Summer Olympic Games. The products are as expected the Nikon D6 and Canon EOS 1D Mark III.

We are likely to see Canon’s 1D X Mark III and Nikon D6 to be announced in Q4 of 2019 to Q2 of 2020. Just ahead of 2020 Summer Olympic games in Tokyo, Japan.

The rumored Nikon D5 successor Nikon D6 will be officially announced in 2019.

Nikon is rumored to announce a new camera withCF Express memory card (or cards) in Q2 of this year. The company is expected  to unveil both Nikon DSLR and Mirrorless models.
