Canon RF 400mm f/2.8, RF 600mm f/4, 100mm f/2.8 Macro Lenses Announced

Along with the Canon EOS R3 development announcement, Canon has announced three new RF mount lenses, including the 400mm f/2.8, and 600mm f/4 telephoto lenses, and the 100mm f/2.8 MACRO IS USM.

The optical image stabilisation (IS) system provides up to 5.5 stops on the RF 400 and RF 600mm lenses, and up to 8-stops on the 100mm f/2.8 Macro lens when used with the Canon EOS R5 or R6 and the in-body image stabilisation. The Macro lens also offers up to 1.4x magnification, which Canon say is a Worlds first for an AF macro lens on full-frame cameras.

The Canon RF 100mm F2.8L Macro IS USM, RF 400mm F2.8L and 600mm F4L will start shipping from July. US Prices are as follows :

Canon EOS R3 Camera Now Listed at B&H

Canon has announced the new EOS R3, a high-speed mirrorless camera, aimed at professional sports photographers, with weather-sealing, a new Canon BSI CMOS sensor and Eye-AF control.

Canon EOS R3 Camera Now Listed at B&H. Here’s what we know so far.

Canon EOS R3 will be built around a Stacked CMOS sensor and will use Canon’s Dual Pixel AF design. It will also offer Eye Control AF, which uses the position of the photographer’s eye to select the initial position for autofocus or subject tracking.

Nikon Z9 competitor Canon EOS R3 Pro Appeared

Nikon Z9 competitor Canon EOS R3 Pro appeared; here are the first details. Nikon Z9, which will be the best and ambitious player in the mirrorless camera market of Nikon, then EOS R3 Pro appeared on Canon side.

Nikon Z9 made a tremendous impression as the new mirrorless camera that the company positioned at the highest-level. The Z9, which will face bodies such as the D series on the DSLR side and the A9 on the Sony side, adopts the “battery grip” integrated structure as in the company’s D series. Now we have the surprise mirrorless Canon EOS R3 Pro, which adopts the similar body structure. The EOS R3 body, which is expected to be officially announced soon, is only visible from the front for now. Of course, the full frame sensor mirrorless camera with interchangeable lenses, EOS R3 Pro, has an interesting body texture that will bring high grip. Not surprisingly, the body with many programmable buttons appeals directly to the professional segment. Fujifilm X-H2 to arrive in 2022 with 8K DCI/UHD Video

The Fujifilm X-H2 has been eagerly awaited by Fujifilm fans for a while now. We can now expect the Fujifilm X-H2 announcement just at the beginning of 2022, after a year in which the company focused its efforts on other mirrorless cameras such as the Fujifilm X-T4 and Fujifilm X-S10.

According to recent reports surfaced on the web, the upcoming X-H2 will be capable of 8K video recording, both 8K DCI and 8K UHD. As you might remember that the APS-C Sony IM671AQR 43MP BSI 8k sensor also has stacked DRAM and up to 16 bit depth for stills images.

Pictures of the new Canon RF 100mm f/2.8 L MACRO IS USM lens

Here are the first leaked pictures of the upcoming Canon RF 100mm f/2.8 L MACRO IS USM lens. This is one of the three new Canon mirrorless lenses that should be announced in the next few weeks.

The announcement of the macro lens will happen along with the other two telephoto lenses: RF 400mm f/2.8L IS USM lens and RF 600mm f/4L IS USM lens. Sony a7R IIIA and a7R IVA Officially Announced

Sony quietly announced two small updated version of their current a7R III and a7R IV cameras: Sony a7R IIIA (LCE-7RM3A) and Sony a7R IVA (ILCE-7RM4A).

Both new models include several upgrades from the a7R III and a7R IV cameras. Pre-orders should be open soon at Adorama and B&H.

Here are the changes on the Sony a7R IIIA and a7R IVA cameras

  • LCD screen resolution changed from 1.44 million dots to 2,359,296 dots
  • Both cameras are now compatible with USB 3.2 (SuperSpeed USB 5Gbps)
  • No Sony logo under the LCD screen (see above picture)
  • The battery life has also been updated

Canon RF 600mm f/4L IS USM, RF 400mm f/2.8L IS USM and RF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM Macro Coming Soon

Canon will soon announce the RF 600mm f/4L IS USM, RF 400mm f/2.8L IS USM and RF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM Macro lenses.

According to the latest rumors from Nokishita-C, Canon will officially announce three new RF lenses in late April.  

  • Canon RF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM Macro
  • Canon RF 400mm f/2.8L IS USM
  • Canon RF 600mm f/4L IS USM

Canon RF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM Macro lens is probably the most requested new lens for the RF mount. Canon RF Lens Roadmap already includes the  but this will be better for its aperture and focal length. bout the price tag we can clearly say that RF 100mm f/2.8 IS USM Macro Lens will cost $2,000 at the least.
