Confirmed : Nikon D6 Will Start Shipping From May 21th

Nikon D6 flagship full frame DSLR camera will start shipping from May 21th. In a recent press release from Nikon, first Nikon D6 units will start shipping to customers on May 21.

Previously the flagship DSLR has been delayed due to Coronavirus. The Nikon D6 (Amazon | Adorama | B&HPhoto)  is a professional DSLR designed for sports and action photography. It features a full-frame 20 Megapixel CMOS sensor and Nikon’s most advanced autofocus system, as of February 2020. The AF system has 105 points, all of which are cross-type and use a ‘triple-sensor arrangement’. Nikon claims that the D6 can focus down to -4.5EV. The camera can shoot bursts at up to 14 frames per second with continuous autofocus.

Canon EOS R5 Announcement Scheduled for May 16, 2020 ?

According to a German retailer Foto Hamer, the upcoming Canon EOS R5 full frame mirrorless camera will be officially announced on May 16, 2020. The next EOS R5 passed several Bluetooth wireless certifications worldwide and already listed at Adorama and B&HPhoto.

We already know that Canon EOS R5 will be the 5D series Equivalent for Mirrorless. The new EOS R5 will be able to record 8K video at 30p with no crop. Olympus E-M5 vs E-M5 Mark III – ISO Performance Comparison

Here is the Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III comparison video covering high-ISO performance of Micro Four Thirds cameras.

Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III is the latest update to the E-M1 Mark II which was released all the way back in 2015. The E-M5 III features a 20mp Four Thirds sensor (CMOS), with 121 phase-detection AF points, the same as the flagship E-M1 Mark II / E-M1X.

Canon EOS R Paid Firmware Update Released

Canon released a new firmware update for the Canon EOS R full-frame mirrorless camera. This is a new paid firmware update for the EOS R that better enables stop-motion photography.

The firmware, which has to be installed at a Canon service center, adds a number of features to make shooting stop motion easier. A new version of the EOS R has also been released that has the firmware already installed.

According to the major US retailers (B&H, Adorama), both the Fujifilm X-T4 Black and Silver bodies will be released on May 11, 2020, and with a kit lens on June 1st.
