Sigma is rumored to start producing lenses for Fuji X-mount cameras. As a result expect Sigma Lenses for Fujifilm in 2021.

About one year ago Sigma said they wanted to develop for Fujifilm, but their resources were limited at that moment. Now looks like its time and they could start developing lenses for Fujifilm. It’s probably the result of so many asking Sigma to release lenses for X-Mount since Fujifilm has the most professional APS-C system at this time.

New Pentax K-3 III DSLR Coming With ISO 1.6 Million, Price Around $1,999

Ricoh has released more details on the next DSLR, Pentax K-3 III. The camera has been in development and with this announcement the name is confirmed as the K-3 III, plus pricing information and expected release date.

So what we know about the new Pentax K-3 III is its product name confirmation. The launch target is around the period of the CP+ camera exhibition, which will be held from February 25 to 28 in 2021.

New Firmware Update Ver 4.00 for Fujifilm X-T3 Released

Fujifilm released the new firmware update version 4.00 for Fujifilm X-T3 and new firmware version 2.11 for Fujifilm X-H1.

This Fujifilm X-T3 Firmware 4.0 improves the autofocusing performance of the camera to the same level as the “FUJIFILM X-T4”.  The firmware will boost the AF speed, the camera’s AF tracking performance and the Face / Eye AF. In addition, the size of the AF area can now be adjusted during video recording. The update will bring new life to the X-T3, adding greater speed to make a great camera even better.

First Rumored Fujifilm X-T40 Specs

Here are the first rumored Fujifilm X-T40 specs. According to recent reports the mid-range APS-c mirrorless camera is scheduled to arrive in 2021.

From the leaked Fujifilm X-T40 specs we can say that the X-series camera will feature the same 26MP sensor and not IBIS as expected. This looks like a minor update.

Fujifilm X-E4 Coming in the First Quarter of 2021

Finally, good news for Fuji rangefinder camera lovers. According to recent rumors, the Fujifilm X-E4 will be announced in the first quarter of 2021.

In general, when we consider the big fairs that take place at the beginning of each year, we can think that the Fujifilm X-E4 announcement will be made in CES 2021 or CP + 2021. On the other hand, considering the current pandemic situation around the world, unfortunately, these expectations may change.

Anyway, the rumor mill continues to boil as a result. Fujifilm’s non-marketed digital camera code “FF200003” has been registered with an overseas certification body (X-S10 is FF200001). This model is equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2. Although there are no features or additional details, we think this new camera is the Fujifilm X-E4, which is expected to be announced in early 2021.
