Fujifilm XF 8mm f/3.5 R WR Lens to be Announced on May 24

In addition to the Fujifilm X-S20, Fujifilm will also unveild the Fujinon XF 8mmF3.5 R WR lens. The Fujifilm X Summit on May 24 (at 5 AM New York Time) is approaching an probably we’ll meet the new XF 8mm lens along with Fujifilm X-S20!

What makes the XF 8mm F3.5 R WR lens stand out is its compact size, making it one of the smallest ultra-wide-angle lenses available. Despite its small size, the lens is versatile and can be used with filters, making it incredibly easy to use. However, the one concern for many photography enthusiasts is the potential price of the lens.

The XF 8mm F3.5 R WR lens has been highly anticipated since its development was announced at last year’s X Summit OMIYA 2022. As the lens covers the shortest focal length as a single focal length lens in the X series, many photographers are eagerly waiting to see what this lens can offer. The ultra-wide-angle lens is particularly attractive to those looking for a compact, lightweight, and highly mobile single focal length lens, as it allows for greater flexibility and ease of use.

Although the pricing and release date for the XF 8mm F3.5 R WR lens are yet to be announced, photography enthusiasts are already excited about the possibilities of this lens. With the X Summit BKK 2023 just a few days away, all eyes are on Fujifilm as they prepare to unveil their latest products and technologies.

According to latest rumors , the upcoming Fujifilm X-S20 will use 26 MP BSI X-Trans IV sensor, the same as the current Fujifilm X-S10 camera.  This new camera will also be using with NP-W235 Battery.

Stay tuned for more information.
