Tokina has announced the release of its new atx-m 85mm F1.8 FE lens for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless camera systems. It is the debut lens for Tokina’s atx-m series of mirrorless lenses that will include lenses for multiple mounts and sensor formats.
The Tokina 85mm f/1.8 FE lens features a clean design with high quality optics housed in a beautifully anodized, semi-satin black metal lens barrel. The fast f/1.8 aperture is perfect for portraits, low light shooting and produces beautiful bokeh.
Tokina 85mm f/1.8 FE lens will hit shelves around the world on February 7, 2020 for an estimated street price of $500 (preorder it now at BHphoto and Adorama). Fuji is rumored to announce the Fujifilm XF 50mm f/1 R WR Lens in early 2020. The official announcement of this sleek short telephoto prime will happen in January to February, 2020.
The XF 50mm f/1.0 R WR for Fujifilm X-series mirrorless cameras will offer a 76mm equivalent focal length to suit a variety of applications, including portraiture and still lifes. The lens is expected to be big and heavy and bright f/1.0 maximum aperture benefit working in low-light conditions and also afford a high degree of control over depth of field. Samyang AF 14mm f/2.8 RF lens is the first auto-focus lens for the Canon EOS R mirrorless camera system. The new model joins the company’s similar AF 14mm f/2.8 EF lens for Canon EF, featuring a 113.9-degree wide angle of view (89.8-degree APS-C) thanks to 14 elements in 10 groups, including one high-reflective element, two extra-low dispersion elements and three aspherical elements.

Venus Optics announce price, specs and availability of Laowa 17mm f/1.8 MFT lens – a compact, approachable and fast lens for exquisite performance.
Retailing for just $149, the Laowa 17mm f/1.8 MFT is the most affordable lens that manufacturer Venus Optics has ever released.
Laowa 17mm f/1.8 lens provides the equivalent of a 34mm angle of view on a full-frame sensor. The lens houses nine elements in seven groups, and has a seven-blade diaphragm to give a pleasing sunstar rendering. The lens is compact and weighs just 6oz (172g). Along with the Nikon Z50 mirrorless camera, two new kit lenses and NIKKOR Z 58mm f/0.95 S Noct, the company also unveiled updated Z-mount lens roadmap until 2021.
The roadmap adds a 20mm F1.8, 50mm F1.2 and 105mm ‘Micro’ lens to the high-end ‘S-Line’ of lenses. There will also be a 28 and 40mm lens as part of what Nikon calls a ‘Compact Prime’ series and a non-S 60mm Micro close-up lens. The ‘S’ line will also gain a 14-24mm F2.8 zoom and a 70-200mm F2.8 for sports and photojournalism. These will be accompanied by a 24-105mm S-line zoom and, while no aperture range has been specified, this is grouped with the existing F4 zooms, An S-line 100-400mm lens is also listed.
