Nikon APS-C Mirrorless Camera, Four Nikkor Z Lenses Coming Soon

There are chances that Nikon will introduce four new Nikkor Z lenses as well as Nikon Z-mount APS-c mirrorless camera in the next few weeks period. We expect the Nikon Z30 camera to appear with four new lenses in this major announcement.

Nikon is rumored to announce four new Z-mount lenses in the next few weeks, including the new Nikkor Z macro lenses and the new Nikkor Z pancake lenses. The details of the lenses are unknown, but since it includes macro and pancakes, at least two of the 28mm, 40mm, 50mm micros, and 105mm micros listed on the Z lens roadmap will appear.

Sony FE 24mm f/2.8 G, FE 40mm f/2.5 G and FE 50mm f/2.5 G Lenses Coming Next

In addition to the newly announced FE 35mm f/1.4 and Sony is on the verge to announce three new compact G lenses next week (on March 23th?):

  • Sony FE 24mm f/2.8 G Lens
  • Sony FE 40mm f/2.5 G Lens
  • Sony FE 50mm f/2.5 G Lens

These Sony’s three G lenses have a relatively small aperture of F2.5 to F2.8, and can be used as pancake lenses, but since they are G lenses, will they maintain a certain size with an emphasis on optical performance.

Sigma fp L Rumored to be Announced Soon

The Sigma fp L mirrorless camera with L-mount is rumored to be announced at “SIGMA STAGE Online”, which is scheduled around 21:00 on March 23rd. It is reported that the Sigma fp L is expected to be equipped with a 60-megapixel full-frame CMOS image sensor, with body anti-shake function and mechanical shutter design.

The successor to the original Sigma fp model has been revealed in a series of official-looking product images ahead of the next Sigma Stage presentation that will take place virtually next week.

Canon Rumors : EOS R5C Coming in late 2021

Here are the latest Canon rumors about full frame mirrorless system. It’s suggested that a cinema version of the EOS R5 might be released in the name of EOS R5C.

Yes, you read that right, the cinema version of the EOS R5. The reason it is expressed in this way is the “C” symbol in the name EOS R5C. According to latest Canon rumors, the new video-focused Canon EOS R5C camera will be announced towards the end of 2021.

The EOS R5C camera will have the same sensor technology as the EOS R5 (Amazon, B&H). It will be able to record 4K/120P with no crop and do 2.8K supersampling in super35 mode. There is, however, a noteworthy detail coming with the rumor: the EOS R5c will have a bigger body and active cooling. Panasonic Firmware Updates for Lumix S1, S1H, S1R, S5 and BGH1

Panasonic has announced major firmware updates for its LUMIX S Series full-frame mirrorless cameras DC-S1H (Ver.2.4), DC-S1 (Ver.2.0), DC-S1R (Ver.1.8), DC-S5 (Ver.2.2) and its Micro Four Thirds box-style mirrorless camera DC-BGH1 (Ver.2.0) to further enhance functions, performance and usability.

Primoplan 58mm F1.9 II Lens for Canon EF, Nikon F, MFT, Pentax K, Sony E, Fuji X, Leica M & L

The Meyer-Optik Gorlitz brand has expanded its range with a new full frame lens – the Primoplan 58mm F1.9 II. As expected, this new lens has been released for various mounts: Canon EF, Nikon F, M42, Pentax K, Sony E, Fujifilm X, Leica L, Leica M, as well as Micro Four Thirds.

The Primoplan 58mm F1.9 II lens is marketed by the manufacturer as a “reborn” version of the original lens, developed by Meyer-Optik designer Paul Schefter 80 years ago. Then this lens became popular due to the extremely high aperture for that time, as well as the ability to create a wide range of bokeh effects – from swirling to “creamy” with small details in a blur.

The manufacturer focuses on the quality of the optics assembly, high-quality color reproduction with high sharpness of the image, and, of course, on the possibility of creating an expressive bokeh effect (see sample images on the Primoplan 58mm f/1.9 II).
