Voigtlander Nokton 21mm f/1.4 Aspherical FE Lens Release Date in June, Price $1,100

The new Voigtlander Nokton 21mm f/1.4 Aspherical FE Lens for Sony E-mount will be released in June, 2019.

The Japanese price for the wide-angle prime optic is 159,300 yen, the same price as the Nokton 40mm f/1.2 FE lens. According to the conversion the US price of this Voigtlander Nokton 21mm f/1.4 Aspherical FE lens to be around $1,100. Sony Working on 34MP Micro Four Thirds Sensor

Sony is rumored to be working on a new high-resolution 34MP image sensor for Micro Four Thirds system cameras.

This is also the perfect sensor resolution for 8K video recordings. So this could be another sensor for a possible video-centric Micro Four Thirds device.

We see 8k resolution usually as 7680×4320 in 16:9 aspect ratio.

Sony a7S III to be capable of Recording 8K Video at 60p in 10bit

Sony a7S III is rumored to be able to record 8K Video at 60p in 10bit.

Latest rumors suggests that the Sony a7S III will use the new Sony MX435AQ 36MP full frame 8K sensor and it will be an 8K 60P 10bit 422 low light powerhouse. Nikon Rumored to Purchase the new Sony 60MP sensor (IMX455)

Nikon is rumored to purchase the new Sony 60MP sensor called the IMX455. The Sony IMX455AQR sensor features 60MP, 8k video, and offers native 64 ISO.

As you might remember Sony will allegedly announce two new sensors. One of them will be capable of 60 megapixel stills, 16 channels, and 8K video recording. The other one is 36MP BSI stacked sensor which will probably be used on the Sony A9 II.

Sony 102MP Full Frame Sensor with 6K Video Support in the Works

Sony is reportedly working on a full-frame sensor which will shoot 102 MP photos and 6K videos. The sensor is named as IMX555CQR and it will shoot high-resolution photos in 12,288 x 8,192 image size (that’s 12K in video terms).
