Sony FE PZ 16-35mm f/4 G Lens Coming on March 22nd, 2022

First image of the Sony FE PZ 16-35mm F4 G lens have been leaked online. With code name SELP1635G this lens is scheduled to be officially announced on March 22, 2022.

The wide-angle zoom lens has the letters “PZ” in the model name and has a zoom lever on the lens barrel. So we can say it is a power zoom lens. Also, according to the image, this new ultra-wide-angle zoom seems to be a G lens and replace the current T * FE 16-35mm F4 ZA OSS.

Sony FE PZ 16-35mm f/4 G lens will cost £1299 is about 203,000 yen, but if this is the price including 20% VAT, it may be a little cheaper in Japan.

According to the latest Sony rumors, a solid Japanese source spotted the code for the new Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II lens ! As you know Sony has registered a new Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II Lens with overseas certification body.

New Firmware Ver.1.1 for Panasonic GH6 Released

Panasonic released the new firmware Ver.1.1 for the newly released Panasonic Lumix DC-GH6 (AmazonB&HAdorama).  This new camera is now in stock and shipping in most US stores.

Voigtländer Nokton 23mm f/1.2 X Officially Announced

Cosina announces Voigtländer Nokton 23mm f/1.2 Lens for Fujifilm X-mount cameras. The US price of the lens is $780 and will start shipping in April. Check availability at BHphotoAmazonUSAdorama

The NOKTON 23mm F1.2 Aspherical X mount is a large-diameter quasi-wide-angle lens designed exclusively for the Fujifilm X mount, and has an angle of view equivalent to 35mm in full-frame equivalent. The lens configuration uses the latest optical system that uses one double-sided aspherical lens and two anomalous partially dispersed glasses out of 10 elements in 6 groups. Changes from “C” Firmware Version 1.02 to 1.03

  • • Fixed an issue that resulted in live view being over- or under-exposed when the exposure was in fact correctly adjusted; this would occur during live view when a non-CPU lenses was mounted on the camera with:
    • – On selected for Custom Setting d9 (Exposure preview (LV)),
    • – the mode dial rotated to M (manual), and
    • – aperture adjusted so that the exposure indicator showed optimal exposure at values other than f/5.6.

New Firmware Update Version 1.31 for Nikon D500

Nikon has released a new firmware update version 1.20 for Nikon D500 DSLR camera.

  •  Fixed an issue that would, when pictures were taken with a flash unit attached, sometimes result in the flash not performing in accordance with the value selected for ISO sensitivity settings > Maximum sensitivity with  after either of the following operations:
    • – Loading settings with Save/load settings > Load settings
    • – Switching photo shooting menu banks using Photo shooting menu bank

  • Performing a firmware update while the camera is affected by this issue will not in itself correct the problem. After performing the update, you will need to either:
    • • reset all setting using Reset all settings > Reset, or
    • • load previously-saved settings (if available) from the memory card using Save/load settings > Load settings.
