The Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV is the entry-level model in the company’s Micro Four Thirds cameras. It’s a step up from the beginner-focused E-PL series, offering more controls, better build quality and a broader feature set. It sports a 20MP Four Thirds sensor, in-body image stabilization, flip-down touchscreen with a simple interface and 4K video capture.

Two New Tilt-Shift Lenses with a High-Megapixel EOS R Camera Coming

Canon is rumored to announce two new tilt-shift lenses with auto-focus for the RF mount and a high resolution EOS R model in the next 1-2 years.

The two rumored autofocus tilt-shift lenses from Canon will be the and . These will be the first tilt-shift lenses with autofocus.

Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-70mm f/2.8 ASPH Lens Officially Announced

The new Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-70mm f/2.8 ASPH Lens is now officially announced.  Two new bundle options with the SL2 and SL2-S were also introduced. The US price of the lens is $2,795 and available for pre-order at B&HAdorama.

The telephoto zoom lens consists of 19 elements in 15 groups, with three of the elements having aspherical surfaces. The focus group is made up of a single element and is driven by a quiet stepping motor

The body is weather-sealed and uses 82mm filters. Lighter than the older Leica Vario Elmarit SL 24-90mm ASPH, (856g / 1.9 lb compared to 1,140g / 2.5 lb), the new lens offers similar build-quality, and a high standard of construction.

Canon EOS R5 with 85mm f/1.2L vs Hasselblad X1D II w/ 80mm f/1.9 Comparison

The Canon EOS R3 sensor may not be produced by Canon

According to a recent interview with Canon executives, the upcoming Canon EOS R3 camera is apparently not the EOS R flagship. We already covered this information here. So we can easily predict that Canon is planning to release another Canon EOS R model as flagship which could be EOS R1.

Canon also confirmed that they will not share the RF mount with other manufacturers. In case you missed it, the EOS R3 will be the first Canon camera with a stacked backside-illuminated sensor. It is the first of its kind developed by Canon for consumers.

So if you wonder who makes the Canon EOS R3 sensor; from the interview we can say it is developed by Canon but not manufactured by Canon.

New Firmware Update V3 for Olympus OM-D E-M1X Coming Soon

New firmware update version 3.0 for Olympus OM-D E-M1X is expected to arrive soon. This will be a major upgrade as the Olympus E-M1X firmware version 3.0 is scheduled for June 2021.

On the other hand there are some talks about the successor to the E-M1X. Even it is too early to talk about but the possible E-M1X Mark II coming in the first months of 2022.

Rumors : Sony A6700 Specs to Feature New 32Mp sensor, 4k60p

According to latest rumors, new High End APS-C E-mount mirrorless camera will be Sony A6700. It will be the direct successor to the Sony A6600 (AmazonB&HAdorama). The official announcement is scheduled by the end of May.
