Panasonic 1.4x & 2x L-mount Teleconverters Announced

In addition to Panasonic S1H 6K mirrorless camera, Panasonic also announced a 1.4x Teleconverter DMW-STC14 and a 2x Teleconverter DMW-STC20 for the LUMIX S Series telephoto zoom lenses.

Panasonic to Release the Upgrade Firmware Key DMW-SFU2 for LUMIX S1 in July 2019

Panasonic officially announced that they will release an Upgrade Firmware Key DMW-SFU2 for the Panasonic LUMIX S1 ($2,497.99 at AmazonB&HAdorama) full-frame mirrorless camera in July 2019 to expand the video performance.

The Upgrade Software Key DMW-SFU2 will go on sale in July 2019 at a cost of $199 in the US, €199 in Europe and £179 in the UK. Panasonic US says the update will be made available free to any existing S1 owners that have registered their camera, and for anyone who buys an S1 before July 31st. Panasonic Leica 10-25mm f/1.7 ASPH MFT Lens Becomes Official

Along with the Panasonic S1H 6K full frame mirrorless camera, the long wait is finally over for the Panasonic Leica 10-25mm f/1.7 ASPH MFT lens.

Designed for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras, the lens covers focal length in full-frame terms is equivalent to 20-50mm on a Micro Four Thirds body, as a single lens that replaces five commonly used equivalent focal lengths: 20, 24, 28, 35 and 50mm.

Panasonic Lumix DC-S1H 6K Full Frame Mirrorless Camera (Price $4,000, Coming Fall 2019)

Panasonic has officially announced the development of the new Lumix DC-S1H 6K Full Frame Mirrorless Camera. The Lumix S1H is the world’s first camera capable of video recording at 6K/24p (3:2 aspect ratio), 5.9K/30p (16:9 aspect ratio), and 10-bit 60p 4K/C4K.

Panasonic Lumix DC-S1H has been designed to produce video virtually identical to that of Panasonic’s pro-level VariCam cinema camera, through the use of V-Log and V-Gamut.

Panasonic Lumix S1H Specs (6K 24p, 4K 60p, 14bit DR, 10bit 4:2:2)

According to the recent rumors the upcoming Lumix Cine camera that will be announced on May 31 will be named as “Panasonic DC-S1H”. The “H” designation will stand for “hybrid”.

Panasonic Lumix V1 Leaked Image & Specs ? (24MP APS-C, L-mount, 6K 30p, 12fps)

According to recent rumors the upcoming Panasonic Cine camera will be named as Panasonic Lumix V1. The APS-c mirrorless camera will have a 24MP CMOS sensor with L-mount. Images of Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Summilux 10-25mm f/1.7 ASPH MFT lens and Panasonic 1.4x/2.0x teleconverters for L-mount

First images of the Panasonic 10-25mm f/1.7 lens and Panasonic 1.4x/2.0x teleconverters for L-mount have been leaked online.

Designed for Micro Four Thirds cameras, this lens should deliver superb image quality like the Nocticron 42.5mm f/1.2 or the 25mm f/1.4 MFT lens.

With a constant aperture of F1.7 throughout its 10-25mm  focal range (20-50mm in 35mm terms), it is a big and heavy lens by Micro Four Thirds standards and the price would be expensive around $2,500. Patent : Tamron 485mm f/5.8 Lens for Micro Four Thirds

Tamron has filed a new patent in Japan. This patent describes a Tamron 485mm f/5.8 lens for mirrorless cameras with Micro Four Thirds image sensors.

If we see this in mass production than it would be Tamron’s second optic for Micro 4/3rds. First one released back in mid-2014 as the Tamron 14-150mm F/3.5-5.8 Di III ($399). Panasonic DC-LX100 II Camera with 17MP multi-aspect sensor

The Panasonic Lumix LX100 II is a 17 megapixel enthusiast zoom compact with a 24-75mm equivalent F1.7-2.8 lens. It uses up to ~85% of the area of a Four Thirds-sized sensor to give a choice of aspect ratios without narrowing the field of view.

The LX100 II features an updated grip, a new 17mp multi-aspect Four Thirds sensor (total 20mp, same sensor as found in the GX9), without an optical low-pass filter, a 3inch touch-screen, USB charging, and additional customisable function buttons.
