The newly announced DJI Mavic Air 2 drone is now available for pre-order at Amazon, B&H, Adorama. The US price is $799. Shipping is scheduled to start on May 11, 2020.

The DJI Mavic Air 2 comes with a better camera, more shooting modes, new tracking features, and a longer battery life. The 3-axis gimbal sports a 1/2″ CMOS sensor capable of capturing 8K Hyperlapse time-lapse shots. The Mavic Air 2 features a 48MP 1/2” Quad Bayer CMOS sensor that’s capable of recording 4K video at up to 60 frames per second (fps) with a 120Mbps data rate and 240 fps slow-motion 1080p video. The previously rumored Canon EOS C300 Mark III (replacement for the current Mark II version) Cinema Camera is now officially announced. The US price is $10,999 and it is now available for pre-order at B&H Photo Video/Adorama.

Confirmed Canon EOS R5 Video Specs: 8K/30, 4K/120 with Raw, 10-bit H.265, Full DPAF

In addition to the new Canon EOS C300 Mark III Cinema Camera, Canon announced additional details of the highly anticipated Canon EOS R5 full-frame mirrorless camera which is currently in development.

According to the confirmed Canon EOS R5 video specifications, the flagship model will be able to record 8K video at 30p with no crop and full-width 4K at up to 120p with 10-bit 4:2:2 recording and full AF in all modes.

The Samyang AF 75mm f/1.8 FE Lens is only 230g in weight and 69mm in height, this makes it one of the lightest portrait lenses on the market – and Samyang claims to be the lightest specifically at 75mm. And this lens will be available for less than $400.

This Samyang AF 75mm f/1.8 FE Lens is the 5th member of Samyang’s “Tiny but Almighty” AF series lenses, which joins Samyang’s AF 18mm, 24mm, 35mm f/2.8 and 45mm f/1.8 models.

Tamron Unveils 70-180mm f/2.8 Di III VXD Lens For Sony E-Mount

Tamron has announced a new addition to the companies range of fast f/2.8 lenses for Sony E-mount full-frame. The Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 Di III VXD utilises a compact and light-weight design that makes it easy to carry and an ideal travel companion.

The lens features a newly developed VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torqueDrive) linear motor focus mechanism which produces an autofocus drive that is quieter and quicker than ever before making it ideal for fast moving subjects and also great for video.

Fotodiox Unveils EF-to-L Lens Adapter with Full Electronic Functions

Fotodiox has announced the new Fotodiox Pro Fusion Adapter that lets you mount Canon EF (and EF-S) lenses onto Leica L (and T) cameras. The new Canon EF to L-Mount Pro Fusion adapter offers complete electronic control and communication between the lens and the camera it’s attached to. while retaining the full range of automated functions.

The adapter works with both EF and EF-S lenses and converts them to L-Mount mirrorless cameras. It features an all-metal design with chrome-plated brass mounts and features a built-in Micro USB for updating the firmware of the adapter.

The mount itself features an all-metal construction with a chrome-plated brass mount that delivers an exact and snug fit. It measures 2.6×2.6×1.1 inches (6.5×6.5×2.9cm) and weighs 0.3 pounds (0.14kg).
