Sony ZV-E1 Price, Specs, Release Date Announced

Sony has announced the ZV-E1, a new full-frame interchangeable lens mirrorless camera which uses the same 12MP sensor as the Sony Alpha A7S III.  It’s a camera with the sophisticated selfie mics and face-the-camera approach of the existing ZV models but one that shares many of its internals with the Sony a7S III and FX3.

The new ZV-E1 will be available in May 2023 at a variety of Sony’s authorized dealers, for an estimated retail price of $2,199.99 USD and $2,999.99 CAN. Preorders in US available at B&Hphoto, Amazon, Adorama.

Canon EOS R8 Sensor Review : Scored 93 Points at DxOMark

DxOMark  published their tests and review of 24.2MP sensor inside the Canon EOS R8 camera ($1,499).

According to sensor review, the Canon EOS R8 gets an outstanding overall DxOmark score of 93 points, with a combination of 24.5 bits color depth, 14.7 EV dynamic range, and 3295 ISO low-light score.

The US price for Canon EOS R8 is $1499 and available at  B&HPhoto/ Adorama.

Canon EOS R5 Rumored to Feature with “IBIS HIGH Resolution” 400MP Image via Major Firmware

As mentioned earlier, Canon will soon announce a new major firmware update for EOS R5. Now according to CR,  EOS R5 will have a new feature called “IBIS HIGH Resolution” via this major firmware update. With this feature, Canon EOS R5 can combine 9 shots to make a 400MP high resolution image.

The Fujifilm X-H2 is a high-end 40MP APS-C mirrorless camera for both stills and video shooting. Its high-resolution stills and 8K video capabilities stand in contrast to the high-speed shooting and fast-readout 4K capabilities of its X-H2S sister model.
