Nikon Z6 II and Z7 II Setting Guides for Still Photography

Nikon has released the new Nikon Z6 II and Nikon Z7 II setting guides for still photography.

The Z6 and Z7 II are solid mid-life updates to the original Z6/7 and the first time the company has used ‘Mark II’ branding for its digital cameras. Both cameras gain a UHS-II SD card slot in addition to the XQD/CFexpress Type B socket. The new cameras use the latest version of Nikon’s EN-EL15 battery. The Z6 II is rated at 410 shots per charge with the LCD, 340 through the viewfinder, while the Z7 II offers 420 and 360, respectively.

Sony FE 35mm f/1.4 GM Lens Images Leaked

Here are the first Sony FE 35mm f/1.4 GM Lens images that have been leaked on the web recently.  The official announcement will be on January 13 at 15:00 London time.

Nikon D3500 and D5600 listed as discontinued

The  Nikon D3500 and D5600 DSLRs are officially listed as discontinued. Both entry-level Nikon DSLRs are listed as ‘Old Products’ on the Nikon Japan website, which traditionally hich historically is an indication that these models are already or will soon be discontinued.

Recent rumors indicate that Nikon plans to release two new DSLRs in 2021 along with several new F-mount lenses. The Nikon D3500 isn’t that old though, and it was a pretty minor refresh over the D3400. For this segment Nikon could wait and pass a year easily.

Sony 35mm f/1.4 GM Lens Leaked, Coming Soon

In a recent video review of Nikon Z7 II by Dpreview TV, it seems that the Sony 35mm f/1.4 GM Lens (SEL35F14GM) lens has been leaked.

Sony’s prime lens with bright aperture was already among the Sony lenses expected for 2021. It seems that at the beginning of the year, the company will bring this lens to the end user. Sony is expected to announce the new 35mm f/1.4 GM lens on January 13 at 15:00 London time.
