Fujifilm X-T4 Full Specifications Leaked

The full specifications of the upcoming Fujifilm X-T4 mirrorless camera have been leaked onlin. The new Fujifilm X-T4 will be officially announced on February 26th, 2020.

The flagship APS-c camera will use the same 26MP BSI CMOS sensor of the Fujifilm X-Pro3. The X-T4 will also offer the new NP-W235 battery.

Panasonic Released New Firmware Update for GH5s and G9 Cameras

Panasonic has released a new firmware update for GH5s and G9 Micro Four Thirds  cameras. This is a minor update as it fixes only one but important bug. Panasonic G9 firmware updated to version 2.1 while the GH5s firmware to version 1.5.

Picture freeze may occur at burst recording using an external flash when camera is set to AFC/AFF and LVF frame rate 120fps, has been improved.

Nikon Z50 Firmware Update Version 1.10 Released

As well as updating the two full-frame mirrorless cameras, Nikon has also introduced a firmware update for the Nikon Z50 which modifies the camera’s controls when recording self-portraits in movie mode.

Currently, when self-portraits are recorded in Movie mode, the focus mode is locked at AF-S mode. With the update to Ver. 1.10, the focus mode will be locked at AF-F mode. This change improves operation by allowing the camera to maintain focus on the user’s face in movie recording.

Nikon Z6 & Nikon Z7 Firmware Update Released with Animal-Detection AF

Nikon has released a new firmware update for the Nikon Z6 and Nikon Z7 full-frame mirrorless cameras.

Updating the Z6 and Z7 to firmware version 3.00 adds a new Animal-detection AF feature to the current Face/eye-detection AF. Subject tracking has also been modified to function more like the 3D-tracking feature in Nikon digital SLR cameras and support for additional CFexpress memory card brands has also been added. Check brands at Adorama, B&H, and Amazon in the US.
