Panasonic Launches New LUMIX S Series Full-frame Mirrorless Cameras LUMIX S1R and LUMIX S1

After the development announcement at Photokina 2018, Panasonic is now proud to introduce the full specifications of its long-awaited first full-frame Digital Single Lens Mirrorless cameras, the LUMIX S1R and S1, with a 35mm full-frame CMOS sensor. Sony RX0 Mark II Registered, Sony a7000 / a7S III Coming in the First Half of 2019

Sony has just registered a new fixed camera under the code name “WW151602”, which will probably be the Sony RX0 Mark II, to replace current RX0 model. The official announcement will be in next one or two months, probably before the CP+ 2019 event in late February.

In addition, Nokishita confirmed that Sony will announce at least one more mirrorless camera in the first half of 2019, probably the long-rumored a7S III or a7ooo/a6700.

Canon EOS RP Announcement Scheduled for CP+ Show 2019

Canon EOS RP announcement is now scheduled for CP+ Show 2019 in late February.

According to recent reports, the company will have a product announcement around mid February, just ahead of CP+ Show 2019 (Thu, Feb 28, 2019 – Sun, Mar 3, 2019).

Olympus Released Firmware Updates For The E-M1, E-M1 Mark II, E-M5 Mark II, PEN-F

In addition to the OM-D E-M1 X camera, M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-400mm F4.5 TC1.25x IS Pro super tele-zoom lens and M.Zuiko MFT Lens Roadmap 2019 – 2020, Olympus also announced firmware updates for current cameras and lenses.

The new firmware simply adds support for the Olympus FL-700WR Electronic Flash ($399.99 at Amazon, B&H, Adorama).  New firmware updates the Olympus cameras such as E-M1 Mark II, E-M5 Mark II, E-M1 and PEN-F.

Videos : New AI Tracking For Sony a6400 and a9 Firmware Update

With the Sony A6400 announcement, the company also unveiled that its next-generation AI-based tracking features are also coming to existing cameras via a firmware update. Remember the Sony Artisan Patrick Murphy-Racey’s 2-minute video showing its impressive features video.

Real-time Tracking will be showing up in the a6400 first when it lands in February 2019. It’ll then make its way into the Sony a9 through the free v5.0 firmware update that’s scheduled for March 2019.
