Fujifilm announced the launch of the standard zoom Fujifilm GF 45-100mm f/4 R LM OIS WR Lens in late February 2020. The US price for this lens is $2,299, now available for pre-order at B&H Photo Video/Adorama/Amazon.

This weather-sealed zoom covers an equivalent range of 36-79mm and includes image stabilization rated at 5 stops.

Fujifilm XC 35mm F2 Prime Lens Announced

Alongside the X-T200, Fujifilm has announced the Fujinon XC 35mm F2 lens. The Fujifilm XC 35mm F2 lens gives an equivalent to 52mm on a 35mm format.

Weighing just 130g and measuring 46.5mm in length, this new prime lens has nine elements including two aspherical lens elements in six groups, producing sharp and crisp images. AF operation is quick and near silent thanks to the use of an internal focus system, which uses a stepping motor, making it drive the focus lens elements fast and accurately.

The lens produces creamy bokeh while offering excellent portability and high-speed AF.

Fujifilm X-T200 Camera Comes with 4K/30p and Costs $800

The Fujifilm X-T200 is an affordable mirrorless camera that uses the company’s X-mount. Boasting a wide range of improvements over its X-T100 predecessor, the X-T200 uses a 24MP Bayer sensor but uses copper rather than aluminum wiring, which provides 3.5x faster readout and had allowed Fujifilm to extend the high ISO by one stop, to 25600.

The X-T200 is lighter than the X-T100, weighing in at 370g / 0.8lb. The T200’s touchscreen is larger (3.5″ vs. 3″) and inherits a more touch-friendly menu from the X-A7.

Sony a9 II, FE 24mm f/1.4 GM and FE 135mm f/1.8 GM Firmware Updates Released

Sony released  new firmware updates for the Sony a9 II, FE 24mm f/1.4 GM and FE 135mm f/1.8 GM.

Firmware update version 1.0.1 for A9 II improves the overall stability and performance of the camera while firmware version 02 for 24mm f/1.4 GM (Amazon | B&H Photo Video) and 135mm f/1.4 GM (Adorama | Amazon) lenses improves aperture response when these lenses attached to the ILCE-9, ILCE-9M2 and ILCE-7RM4 camera models.

Techart Releases TZC-01 – New Canon EF to Nikon Z Autofocus Adapter

Techart releases the TZC-01, an adapter that makes it possible to mount and use autofocus Canon EF lenses on Nikon Z6 and Z7 cameras

Techart says the TZC-01 will work with EF-mount lenses from Canon, Sigma, Tamron, Tokina and Zeiss. In addition to ‘native’ autofocus performance, the lenses will also maintain aperture control, stabilization features and EXIF data. Tokina has announced the release of its new atx-m 85mm F1.8 FE lens for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless camera systems. It is the debut lens for Tokina’s atx-m series of mirrorless lenses that will include lenses for multiple mounts and sensor formats.

The Tokina 85mm f/1.8 FE lens features a clean design with high quality optics housed in a beautifully anodized, semi-satin black metal lens barrel. The fast f/1.8 aperture is perfect for portraits, low light shooting and produces beautiful bokeh.

Leica M10 Monochrom Black and White Camera

Leica Camera launches the new Leica M10 Monochrom. Building on the legendary M-system, Leica is taking digital black-and-white photography to the next level with the launch of the new Leica M10 Monochrom.

The new camera features a new 40.8mp full-frame monochrome CMOS sensor, and is available to purchase now for $8295 Adorama | B&H.

The new sensor has lowered the base ISO from 320 to 160, and Leica also claims an improvement in dynamic range. The camera works with all Leica M-Bayonet mount lenses, and features an ISO range of ISO160 to ISO100,000.

Sony Announces New Shooting Grip With Wireless Remote Commander (GP-VPT28T)

Sony has announced a new shooting grip, featuring Bluetooth wireless remote control capability. The GP-VPT2BT features a zoom control, and the ability to take movies or stills by pressing a button with your thumb.

Sony GP-VPT28T wireless shooting grip designed to work with a number of Sony cameras. The grip, which also serves as a tripod, uses Bluetooth connectivity to wirelessly control the shutter, zoom and more on compatible cameras.

Laowa 4mm f/2.8 Fisheye Lens Announced for Sony E, Fuji X, and Canon EF-M

Venus Optics announced the Laowa 4mm f/2.8 Fisheye lens for Canon EF-M (EOS M), Sony E, Fuji X mounts.  The lens has a good price tag at $199.

Featuring a one-of-a-kind 210° field of view, Laowa 4mm f/2.8 fisheye lens can create a circular fisheye perspective on Micro Four Thirds (M43) cameras. Photographers can create a 360° full panorama image with a maximum of 2-3 shots. The lens  weigh only 4.8 oz (135 g) which makes it extremely portable and allows photographers to have creative shots anywhere, anytime. The lens can also be mounted on DJI Inspire X5 cameras for creating a unique perspective you have never seen before.
