Nikon, Leica and Olympus will not Attend Photokina 2020 Show

Nikon, Leica and Olympus will not take part in the next 2020 Photokina show in Germany.

The 2020 show follows a fallow year in 2019. Back in 2018 the show’s organisers announced that Photokina would cease to be held biannually and would become an annual event in May of each year.

SLR Magic announces 21mm T1.6, 50mm T1.4 ‘MicroPrime’ cine lenses for Micro Four Thirds

SLR Magic has added a pair of Micro Four Thirds (MFT) ‘MicroPrime’ lenses to its cinema lineup: the MicroPrime CINE 21mm T1.6 and the MicroPrime CINE 50mm T1.4.

The MicroPrime CINE 21mm T1.6 is constructed of 13 elements in 11 groups and weighs 700g (1.57lbs), while the MicroPrime CINE 50mm T1.4 is constructed of 6 elements in 5 groups with a weight of 630g (1.39lbs). The lenses, which will retail for $599 a piece at authorized retailers, round out SLR’s MFT lineup alongside the 12mm T2.8 and 18mm T2.8.

Apple iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max

Apple has launched the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, which both have three different cameras for taking ultra-wide photos.

iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will be available in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB models in midnight green, space grey, silver and gold colors.

The standard 11 Pro has an eye-watering starting price of £1049/$999 − and that only gets you 64GB of storage. The 11 Pro Max starts at a staggering £1149/$1099 (also for 64GB).

Fujifilm X-A7 unveiled with improved AF, 4K/30p video and $700

Fujifilm today has officially announced the new Fujifilm X-A7 APS-C mirrorless camera. The X-A7 features an all-new 24MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS III sensor with the same color reproduction, famous film simulations, quality, and abilities as the sensors riding in their top-tier X-system cameras like the X-T3 and X-Pro2.

  3. The development of SIGMA MOUNT CONVERTER MC-31, a converter that allows PL mount lenses to be used on L-Mount cameras.

Phase One XT Announced : Price, Specs, Release Date

Phase One XT medum format camera system incorporates the company’s IQ4 series of digital backs with up to 151MP of resolution and marries them to a line of Rodenstock lenses using the new XT camera body. The US price for XT IQ4 150MP Camera System, including a lens of your choice, is $56,990.

The lenses were developed with its partner, Rodenstock, and include:

  • The XT – Rodenstock HR Digaron-S 23mm f/5.6
  • The XT – Rodenstock HR Digaron-W 32mm f/4
  • The XT – Rodenstock HR Digaron-W 70mm f/5.6
