Canon EOS M7 & EOS M50 Mark II to be Announced in late 2020

Canon is rumored to announce two new Canon EOS M mirrorless camera bodies in Q4 of 2020: one is the flagship “Canon EOS M7“, and the other is the Canon EOS M50 Mark II. The official announcement date is NOT confirmed yet by our trusted sources, so please treat this information accordingly.

The Canon EOS M7 will be the new flagship model of the EOS M mirrorless lineup, and it will be an EOS M body of “greater durability and performance than you’d expect from an M5 follow-up”.  According to the report from CanonRumors, this Canon EOS M7 mirrorless camera “will reportedly have the same 32MP sensor as the Canon EOS M6 Mark II, as well as IBIS, Dual Card slots, and ‘all the bells and whistles’“.

Canon EOS M50 Mark II and Flagship EOS M Camera to Feature IBIS Tech

Canon will allegedly announce two new EOS M APS-C mirrorless cameras by the end of 2020. Now according to recent reports, the company might bring IBIS tech to these EOS M series APS-C mirrorless cameras.

The first EOS M mirrorless camera to feature with IBIS would be Canon EOS M50 Mark II. Canon may also bring IBIS to the rumored flagship APS-C mirrorless camera and it is said this new camera will be an EOS R6 with an APS-C sensor.

Tokina launches ATX-i 11-20mm f/2.8 CF lens and Updates Lens Roadmap

Tokina has announced the ATX-i 11-20mm f/2.8 CF lens which is designed for use with Canon and Nikon DSLRs.

Available for Canon EF and Nikon F mounts, the Tokina ATX-i 11-20mm f/2.8 CF lens contains three aspherical elements along with three low dispersion elements. Other features include a 9-blade diaphragm and a One-Touch Focus Clutch mechanism.

Offering a 17.6-32mm equivalent focal length, the new Tokina lens also has a water-resistant top coat and a multi-layer lens coating.

The US price of the Tokina atx-i 11-20mm f/2.8 CF Lens is $529, and it is available for pre-order at B&HAdorama. In addition the lens manufacturer released updated lens roadmap for 2020.
