Canon is rumored to announce two new Canon EOS M mirrorless camera bodies in Q4 of 2020: one is the flagship “Canon EOS M7“, and the other is the Canon EOS M50 Mark II. The official announcement date is NOT confirmed yet by our trusted sources, so please treat this information accordingly.
Canon EOS M7
The Canon EOS M7 will be the new flagship model of the EOS M mirrorless lineup, and it will be an EOS M body of “greater durability and performance than you’d expect from an M5 follow-up”. According to the report from CanonRumors, this Canon EOS M7 mirrorless camera “will reportedly have the same 32MP sensor as the Canon EOS M6 Mark II, as well as IBIS, Dual Card slots, and ‘all the bells and whistles’“.
In addition, Canon will announce a new “higher-end” EF-M lens long with the Canon EOS M7. The official announcement is scheduled to be in late 2020. According to recent reports the new specs list of EOS M50 Mark II / EOS M7 is available now. Check out the details below:
Canon EOS M50 Mark II
The Canon EOS M50 Mark II mirrorless camera will be coming later in Q4 of 2020, but may not be released until early 2021, and it will replace the hugely popular Canon EOS M50. The exact announcement date and detailed specifications are still unknown at the time of writing.
Along with the EOS M50 Mark II, Canon will reportedly announce several new EF-M prime lenses, maybe the 50mm prime, 60mm F2.8 macro and some wide-angle prime like 15mm.

Canon will also announce several new EF-M mirrorless lenses. A new higher-end EF-M lens and a medium telephoto prime lens is on the horizon.
