It’s Official : Ricoh Announces Pentax K-3 Mark III DSLR Camera

Ricoh officially announced its flagship Pentax K-3 Mark III APS-C format DSLR camera. The US price is $1,999.95, and it will be available for pre-order on April 6 at 5 p.m. ET. Shipping is scheduled to start in late April 2021. A matching battery grip D-BG8 is among the optional accessories launched alongside the camera.

Pentax K3 Mark III Release Date Scheduled for Next Week

The highly anticipated Pentax K3 Mark III is now scheduled to be released next week. Here is the story.

Ricoh was set to launch the camera during the CP+ 2021 event, however, the launch of the Pentax K-3 Mark III APS-C DSLR has been delayed. This was due to a parts shortage.

Now according to rcent reports, the new Pentax K-3 Mark III Body, PENTAX K-3 Mark III Kit & Battery Grip D-BG8 have been added to overseas dealers and will be available for pre-order next week.

The K-3 Mark III camera will have a new 25.73MP APS-C CMOS image sensor. ISO will range from 100 all the way up to 1,600,000 and the camera will feature sensor-shift image stabilization. The Pentax K-3 price to be around $1,999.

Several new Pentax products, including the K-3 Mark III, are already listed at a dealer/online store and will be available for pre-order next week:

  • PENTAX K-3 Mark III camera body (black/silver)
  • PENTAX K-3 Mark III lens kit (black/silver)
  • PENTAX battery grip D-BG8

The Pentax K-3 Mark III firmware with Eye-AF also seems to be finalized according to multiple posts at the Chinese forum Xitek.

Confirmed : New Nikon Flagship 8K Mirrorless Camera Coming in 2021

In a recent interview with DPReview; Keiji Oishi, Department Manager of Nikon’s Imaging Business Unit, UX Planning Department has confirmed that new nikon flagship 8K mirrorless camera is coming later this year. This new nikon flagship 8K mirrorless camera will feature a high-resolution stacked sensor.

Although the product name is not officially stated, we can say that it will be called the Nikon Z1 or Nikon Z9, which has been frequently rumored recently.

Nikon Releases NX Studio Software That Combines ViewNX-i and Capture NX-D

Nikon has announced the release of NX Studio image. The video editing/viewing software combines the best bits of Nikon’s View NX-i and Capture NX-D software applications in a single piece of software.

The newly released Nikon NX Studio is essentially a replacement for both applications, offering almost every feature of the pair in a single program. Capture NX-D and ViewNX-i will remain available for download, but are unlikely to be updated to add support for new cameras or compatibility with future operating system updates.

Nikon digital camera users can download the software, free of charge, from today and those who currently use View NX-i and Capture NX-D are advised to switch to NX Studio as View NX-i and Capture NX-D will no longer be updated so they’re compatible with the latest OS and new functions won’t be added either. Confirmed : New Nikon Cameras Coming in 2021

Nikon did not introduce any new products at the 2021 CP+ event, but the company’s general manager, Mr. Satoshi Yamazaki was confirmed in the interview that we will meet the new Nikon products in 2021.

Ricoh officially announced three new Pentax HD PENTAX-FA limited lenses for PENTAX K-mount DSLR cameras. These lenses are the HD Pentax-FA 31mm F1.8 Limited lens, HD Pentax-FA 43mm F1.9 Limited lens and HD Pentax-FA 77mm F1.8 Limited lens.

Three new Pentax HD PENTAX-FA limited lenses are now available for pre-order at B&H, Adorama. Shipping is scheduled to start in April 2021.

Pentax K3 Mark III Launch Delayed Indefinitely

Ricoh announces its Pentax K-3 Mark III APS-C DSLR has been delayed due to a parts shortage, The K3 Mark III DSLR that was scheduled to be announced at Japan’s CP+ show on February 25 now delayed indefinitely.

Pentax was set to launch the camera during the CP+ 2021 event, which takes place between February 25 and 28. However, the launch of the camera has been delayed.

The K-3 Mark III camera will have a new 25.73MP APS-C CMOS image sensor. ISO will range from 100 all the way up to 1,600,000 and the camera will feature sensor-shift image stabilization.
