New MFT Cameras to be Announced in 2022

According to recent reports, there will be new MFT cameras coming in 2022.  The products on the horizon are Panasonic G9 Mark II  and Olympus E-M5 Mark IV.

After the big announcements of Olympus OM-1 and Panasonic GH6, some people may be worried that the release of the new Micro Four Thirds products may have entered a very slow and boring period.

But there will be more new MFT cameras announced in 2022. We’re collecting detailed information on those new models, but if  Panasonic Lumix GH6 (B&HAdorama) and OM SYSTEM OM-1 ($2,199.99 USD at B&HPhoto and Adorama) are too expensive for you, you should wait for the next camera.

We don’t know if it’s Panasonic, OM-D’S, or both, but it seems likely that some kind of Micro Four Thirds camera will come out later this year. Even the details of the new model is unknown at the moment, it seems that we may expect the successor to Panasonic G9  and  Olympus E-M5 Mark III.
