DigitalCameraWorld has interviewed Canon UK executive during the EOS-1D X Mark III development announcement. According to the interview it is now confirmed that EOS R Pro or EOS RX is in the works, and these cameras are expected to feature IBIS and dual card slots. Canon filed two new patents in USA and Japan. Both lens patents are RF mount ultra-wide zoom lenses. The patent application describes a RF 14-28mm f/2L USM lens which will be good companion for the RF 28-70mm f/2L USM lens.

According to recent reports the upcoming flagship DSLR camera will have an amazing battery life and it will be much better than the current 1DX II.
The Mark III of Canon 1D X to feature an all-new CMOS sensor with Dual Pixel AF and a new Digic processor. The Dual Pixel AF region of the sensor will cover 90% of the frame horizontally and 100% vertically, with 525 AF areas.

Samyang AF 14mm f/2.8 RF lens is the first auto-focus lens for the Canon EOS R mirrorless camera system. The new model joins the company’s similar AF 14mm f/2.8 EF lens for Canon EF, featuring a 113.9-degree wide angle of view (89.8-degree APS-C) thanks to 14 elements in 10 groups, including one high-reflective element, two extra-low dispersion elements and three aspherical elements.

The price for RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Lens is $2,699.00, now available for pre-order at B&H Photo Video/Adorama/Amazon, shipping in November. The price for RF 85mm f/1.2L USM DS lens is $2,999, now available for pre-order at B&H Photo Video/Adorama/Amazon, shipping in December.

Canon held a major announcement. In addition to the new RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM and RF 85mm f/1.2L USM DS, the company also announced the development of the Canon EOS-1D X Mark III flagship DSLR camera.
Price and release date is not available yet. Expected official announcement around CP+ Show 2020 in February.
The new flagship camera will have an all-new CMOS sensor with Dual Pixel AF and a new Digic processor. That combination will be able to produce not only standard JPEG and Raw files, but also 10-bit HEIF files for a greater tonal range than JPEGs are capable of. The Dual Pixel AF region of the sensor will cover 90% of the frame horizontally and 100% vertically, with 525 AF areas.
Canon EOS 1D X Mark III will be able to capture 10-bit, 4:2:2 video footage at up to 4K/60p with built in a C-Log profile, to enhance users’ ability to grade the video files in post.

Canon is rumored to announce a new Canon EOS R Pro camera in March 2020. As previously mentioned it will be equivalent to the upcoming EOS-1D X Mark III. This is expected to be the new high-resolution model in company’s full frame mirrorless system.
