The ultra-wide angle NIKKOR Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S is the world’s shortest and lightest full-frame f/2.8 zoom lens with a 14mm field of view, enabling a versatile range to capture expansive views including cityscapes, landscapes, astrophotography and more. A new optical design makes it 35% lighter than the FX version. It has four ED elements, as well as Nikon’s Arneo and Nano Crystal coatings to reduce flare and other aberrations. So, this Nikon NIKKOR Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S lens is an ideal lens for landscapes, cityscapes, night skies, architecture, interiors and environmental portraits.

New Venus Optics Laowa 15mm f/4.5 Zero-D Shift Lens for Mirrorless Cameras

Venus Optics officially announced the Laowa 15mm f/4.5 Zero-D Shift Lens – the World’s Widest Shift lens for full frame cameras and medium format cameras.

Available in Canon EF, Nikon F, Canon RF, Nikon Z, and Sony FE mounts the lens is constructed of 17 elements in 11 groups, including two aspherical elements and a new lens coating. It has a 110-degree angle of view, offers a 65mm image circle and can shift +/-11mm on full-frame camera systems (+/-8mm when adapted for medium format cameras, such as Fujifilm GFX and Hasselblad X1D cameras).

The Laowa 15mm F4.5 Zero-D Shift is available to pre-order today for Canon EF, RF, Nikon F, Nikon Z and full-frame Sony E-mount camera systems for $1,199 on Venus Optics’ website. The Canon EF and Nikon F mount versions will be available in late November 2020, while the Canon RF, Nikon Z and full-frame Sony E-mount versions won’t be available until February 2021. Zeiss finally announced the Zeiss ZX1 Full Frame Mirrorless Camera. The US price is $6,000. The US price is $6,000. Zeiss ZX1 Camera: $6,000 at B&H and Adorama.

New Sony a7S III Firmware Version 1.02 Released

Sony has released a new firmware update for a7S III (Amazon, B&H, Adorama) full frame mirrorless camera.

Sony A7s III is a native 4K camera with impressive video specs and a revised user interface. It can capture UHD 4K footage at up to 120p in 10-bit 4:2:2 encoding and promises 16-bit Raw video output. 4K video recording is possible at 120fps (up to 30min), 4K 60fps (up to 60min), and FullHD video at 240fps. The camera can record 4K video at 10-bit 4:2:2 internally, has up to 600mbps recording, and supports dual SD UHS-II or new CFexpress Type-A cards.

New Pentax K-3 III DSLR Coming With ISO 1.6 Million, Price Around $1,999

Ricoh has released more details on the next DSLR, Pentax K-3 III. The camera has been in development and with this announcement the name is confirmed as the K-3 III, plus pricing information and expected release date.

So what we know about the new Pentax K-3 III is its product name confirmation. The launch target is around the period of the CP+ camera exhibition, which will be held from February 25 to 28 in 2021.

Canon RF 50mm f/1.8 STM and RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM Lenses Coming Soon

Previously rumored Canon RF 50mm f/1.8 STM and Canon RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM will likely be announced in the next couple of weeks.

Both lenses are in the leaked Canon RF Mount Lens Roadmap for 2021.
