Panasonic GH5 Mark II Officially Announced

Panasonic has announced the Lumix DC-GH5 II (GH5M2), an updated version of its video-focused Micro Four Thirds camera.

So the Panasonic Lumix GH5 II mirrorless camera is now officially announced. The US price is $1,697.99 and it will be released on June 30, 2021.

The Panasonic Lumix GH5 II will be available in late June with an MSRP of $1699 for the body and $2299 kitted with the 12-60mm F2.8-4 lens.

Full list of 2021 TIPA World Awards Winners

The Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) announced all the winners of the 2021 TIPA World Awards. The Canon EOS M50 Mark II wins the“best APS-C entry level camera” while the Canon RF 600mm f/11 IS STM wins the“best prime telephoto lens”. Overall Best Full Frame Professional Camera is the Sony a1.

Nokishita leaked more product images of the upcoming Panasonic GH5 Mark II camera, which will be officially announced on May 25, 2021. The GH5 Mark II will actually be an updated version of the current GH5 model.

According to the Panasonic teaser, they are saying new LUMIX GH series cameras are coming, not only a single camera. Designed from the ground up by Tokina’s cinema division, the 25-75mm T2.9 is a modern cinema zoom lens design, with features usually reserved for higher-cost cinema zooms.  It is a constant T2.9 throughout the range, with parfocal and excellent zoom tracking with minimal image shift.
