Panasonic Lumix S1H Firmware Update 2.0 Released, RAW video output delayed

Panasonic has released firmware version 2.0 for the Lumix S1H; however, the much-anticipated option to record 5.9K ProRes Raw video to an Atomos Ninja V has been delayed.

It was supposed to be included with a firmware update that was released yesterday for the S1H, firmware version 2.0. Panasonic released all the details of the firmware update back in April.

Panasonic says the delay is down to a technical issue which the company hasn’t been able to resolve in time for the release. Panasonic says the Raw video data output function will be provided separately in the next firmware release.

The new Panasonic Lumix S1H mirrorless camera is now in stock and shipping in the US: $3,997.99 at Adorama | B&H Photo | Amazon. Continue reading “Panasonic Lumix S1H Firmware Update 2.0 Released, RAW video output delayed”
