Sony officially announced the new FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II lens, a second-generation zoom lens that is the smallest and lightest F2.8 G Master lens in its lineup. The US price is $2,298, and you can check the pre-order options at B&H Photo / Amazon / Adorama.

A refined take on the fast standard zoom, the Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II is not only smaller and lighter than the previous generation, it also features a variety of optical, focusing, and handling upgrades that make this the most well-rounded G Master zoom to date. The lens features an all new optical construction that consists of 20 elements in 15 groups, including five aspherical elements (two of which are high-precision extreme aspherical (XA) elements), two extra-low dispersion (ED) elements and two Super ED elements. Sigma 50mm f/2, 50mm f/1.2 Art, 16-28mm f/2.8 and 70-200mm f/2.8 DG DN FE Lens Rumors

Here are the latest updates on the Sigma 50mm f/2 DG DN Contemporary lens,  Sigma 50mm f/1.2 DG DN Art lens, and the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG DN FE lens for Sony E mount.

Sigma will announce the new 50mm f/1.2 DG DN Art and 50mm f/2 DG DN Contemporary Lens in Q2 (April-June) of 2022 with the new 16-28mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary lens. The latest rumor suggests that the new Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG DN Lens for Sony E mount will be announced by the end of the year. The release of the 70-200mm f/2.8 DG DN FE Lens could be early next year, this is because the semiconductor and supply issues haven’t been resolved yet. Canon RF 35mm f/1.2L USM Lens to be Announced in 2022

Good news folks, Canon RF 35mm f/1.2L USM Lens rumored to be Announced in Q3 of 2022. The new bright prime lens will be the next f/1.2 model after the RF 50mm f/1.2L and RF 85mm f/1.2L USM lenses.

It is still unclear whether it will be F1.2 or F1.4, but considering the lineup so far, it seems that the possibility of F1.2 is high. We know that the company filed Canon patents for both models. These Canon lenses were the RF 35mm f/1.2L, 35mm f/1.4L, 28mm f/1.2L and 24mm f/1.2L. Looks like either the f/1.2 or f/1.4 will go in mass production this Summer.

It’s suggested that the lens is already in the “hands of testers and marketing folks and recently appeared in an internal dealer roadmap”.

Nikon Unveils 800mm F6.3 VR S super telephoto lens for Z-mount

Nikon reveals its new 800mm F6.3 VR S super telephoto lens for Z-mount cameras. The US price of the NIKKOR Z 800mm f/6.3 VR PF S Lens is $6500. B&HPhoto already published the product page for the NIKKOR Z 800mm f/6.3 VR S lens.

The new lens is constructed of 22 elements in 14 groups, including one PF element, three extra-low dispersion (ED) elements and one Short-Wavelength Refractive (SR) element. Ir features a nine-blade rounded aperture diaphragm, includes a fluorine coating on the front-most element and has a minimum focusing distance of five meters (14.5ft).
