Fujifilm X/GFX New Firmware Updates Released

Fujifilm discovered a bug happening with twelve of their cameras when used with Mac computers. The first batch of firmware had been released a few days ago here and was for the following cameras:  X-T4, X-T3, X-S10, GFX100S, GFX100 and GFX50S.

Three new Voigtlander lenses for Nikon Z & one for Fujifilm X

Cosina announces three new Voigtlander lenses for Nikon Z, one for Fujifilm X and an E-mount close-focus adapter. Two of these lenses are for full-frame mirrorless and two of them are for APS-C. The release date and pricing information is not yet available.

New KamLan 55mm f/1.4 Lens Announced for Sony E, Nikon Z, Canon R

New KamLan 55mm f/1.4 lens announced for Sony E, Nikon Z, and Canon R mirrorless systems. Official announcements made during the 2022 CP+ show.

The manual focus lens is constructed of eight elements in six groups, uses a 13-blade aperture diaphragm, has an aperture range of F1.4 through F16 and has a minimum focusing distance of 30cm (11.8”). The lens is set for a March 2022 release, but no pricing information has been made available at this time. You can purchase KamLan lenses from Adorama. Nikon NIKKOR Z 800mm F6.3 VR S Lens Coming Soon!

Nikon NIKKOR Z 800mm F6.3 VR S Lens Coming Soon! After Canon announced the RF 800mm f/5.6L IS USM Lens, and the RF 1200mm f/8 L IS USM Lens, Nikon’s own super-telephoto prime lens is also coming.

Sigma Unveils 16mm, 30mm, 56mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lenses for Fujifilm X Mount

It’s finally official. Sigma 16mm f/1.4, 30mm f/1.4 and 56mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary lenses for Fujifilm X Mount now available for pre-order. Sigma officially announced the new 16mm f/1.4, 30mm f/1.4 and 56mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary lenses for Fujifilm X Mount.

The 16mm F1.4 DC DN, 30mm F1.4 DC DN and 56mm F1.4 DC DN mark Sigma’s first offerings for Fujifilm’s APS-C interchangeable lens camera system and are nearly identical to their predecessors, which were previously released for Canon EF-M mount, L-mount, Micro Four Thirds and Sony E-mount cameras.

All three lenses are set to be available in April 2022 at authorized Sigma retailers.

Nikon’s monster new Z 800mm lens is hitting the market. B&HPhoto has published the product page for the NIKKOR Z 800mm f/6.3 VR S lens.

The Z 800mm f/6.3 VR S is an S-Line lens, denoting Nikon’s top optical quality, and promises to deliver powerful rendering with outstanding resolution while thoroughly reducing color bleeding. It will also employ Phase Fresnel – specially shaped lens elements that work rather like a lighthouse lens to focus light, lens tech for the first time in a Nikkor Z model, enabling a compact and lightweight body to be realized, making it highly portable despite being a super-telephoto lens

The super prime zoom lens from Nikon, the Nikkor 800mm f/6.3, has now been listed on B&H .
