Sony a9 II is rumored to be announced in mid or late October, 2019, just ahead of PhotoPlus EXPO on October 24th-26th. The Mark II version of high-speed full frame mirrorless camera is expected to feature a 36MP BSI stacked sensor.

New Rumored Nikon Z Lens Roadmap for 2020/2021

New rumored Nikon Z-mount lens roadmap have been leaked online. According to the rumored lens roadmap now there are a total of 10 new Z-mount lenses added for 2020 and 2021.

From an 85mm f/1.2 to a 100-300mm f/4, it seems Nikon has a lot of glass in the pipeline for its full-frame mirrorless system. The additional roadmap fills in almost all of those TBD blanks in the previous Nikon Z mount lens roadmap.

Sony a7S III or Sony a9 II to be Announced Soon

Sony will soon announce one more full frame mirrorless camera, which will probably be the “Sony a9 II“ or Sony a7S III.

The company already registered a new camera under the code name “WW942051” with certification authority and this camera is expected to be announced in the next 1-2 weeks period.

Nikon NIKKOR Z 24mm f/1.8 S Lens Officially Announced

Along with development of Nikon D6 and AF-S NIKKOR 120-300mm f/2.8E lens, Nikon also announced the new NIKKOR Z 24mm f/1.8 S Lens.

The wide-angle prime becomes Nikon’s seventh native Z-mount lens, and is one of three remaining lenses on the roadmap for 2019 – the others being the 70-200mm F2.8 and the much-hyped 58mm F0.95 Noct.

Panasonic GH6 Camera Might Use Sony 41MP Sensor

According to latest reports the upcoming Panasonic GH6 camera may use the Sony 41MP Sensor [IMX594CQR].

Panasonic is rumored to announce the Lumix GH6 Micro Four Thirds camera sometime in 2020. Sony a9 Firmware Update Version 6.0 to be Released in September

The new firmware version 6.0 for Sony a9 mirrorless camera will be released in September 2019. This firmware version 6.0 will add Real-time Eye AF for Animals and Interval Shooting for Time Lapse for Sony a9. Firmware version 6.0 also brings an interval shooting mode first seen in the Sony a6400. Now, it’s easy to capture between 1 and 9999 photographs in 1 to 60 second intervals. The new feature also includes an auto exposure (AE) sensitivity setting that can be adjusted between High, Mid or Low to account for changing exposures throughout the set capture time.
