Rumored Specs for the Sony FX3 Camera

Here are the rumored specs of the Sony FX3 camera.  Gaston Shutters published new pictures and shared new specs of the Sony FX3 in his Youtube channel.

According to the video the upcoming Sony FX3 will be basically the same as the Sony a7S III camera. Sony FX3 specs consists of 12MP full frame sensor. The camera will be able to record 4K at 120p but no 8K as rumored before. It will have IBIS and video recording expected with no overheating after 13hours 4K all-in 10bit 4:2:2.

Atomos Ninja V Firmware Update 10.6.1 Released

Atomos has just released the latest AtomOS firmware 10.61 for the Ninja V.  With this firmware update Ninja V has now benefits of a Time-lapse function, HDMI to SDI cross conversion, and RAW over SDI.

The RAW over SDI option is already activated for those purchasing the new NINJA V Pro Kit. However, thanks to the new firmware 10.61 existing Atomos Ninja V owners can also purchase the $99 activation license (directly from Atomos) and record ProRes RAW over SDI from the Sony FX6, FX9 and other compatible cameras.

Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary Lens coming soon

Sigma will allegedly announce a new standart zoom which will be named as Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary Lens.

Available in Sony E and Leica L mounts, the Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary lens will be officially announced on February 24, 2021, and it will compete against the Tamron 28-75mm FE. The US price of the zoom lens expected to be around $900.

Sony FX3 Specs and Images ! Here is the first leaked image of the upcoming Sony FX3 camera, which is expected to be announced soon. This Sony FX3 camera is expected to have 4k/120p video and the same similar features as the Sony a7S III.

This Sony FX3 camera has the similar design as the a7/a9 camera and it is expected to have 8K video (like the new Sony a1).
