Fujifilm has announced a lot of gear today at its X Summit Global 2021 event. In addition to announcing an all-new 100-megapixel, medium-format GFX 100S camera and a new GF 80mm prime lens, the company also unveils refreshed X-E4, a weather-sealed XF 27mm prime and a super-compact 70-300mm zoom.

Sony A1 Announced 50 MP at 30fps, 8K, Price : $6,498.00

Sony has announced the Sony A1, a new 50MP camera capable of shooting at 30 fps with no blackout. It is capable of recording 8K videos. Sony A1 uses a stacked CMOS sensor and a pair of new Bionz XR processors.

The US price is $6,498.00 and available for pre-order at B&HPhoto and Adorama. Shipping will start in March.

It uses the stacked CMOS sensor technology first seen in the a9 but takes it further, allowing silent, no-blackout images at up to 30 fps. The Sony A 1 has a 9.44 million dot OLED Quad-XGA electronic viewfinder, with a refresh rate of up to 240 fps, ensuring no blackout. The 9.44 million-dot (approx.), 0.64 type Quad-XGA high-definition OLED display and refined optics deliver the highest resolution in its class. It also offers 0.90x viewfinder magnification, a 41° diagonal FOV, and a 25mm-high eyepoint for clear, low distortion viewing from corner to corner. At a glance successor to the GFX 100 (AmazonB&HAdorama) features 102MP 43.8 x 32.9mm BSI CMOS Sensor and comes with IBIS inside. You can also use Pixel Shift Multi-Shot to create ultra-high resolution 400MP stills. In terms of video GFX100S can record 4K/30p footage in 10-bit F-log or 12-bit ProRes RAW.

Here is the full press text of the Fujifilm X-E4 mirrorless camera. You can find the images and specifications of the rangefinder style X-series model.

Fujifilm X-E4 features the same 26.1MP sensor as seen on the Fuji X-T4. However Fujifilm X-E4 doesn’t have IBIS tech. The mid-range camera is in the same size of X-E3 and comes with a flip up screen, similar to the one you see on the Fujifilm X70.

This Fujifilm GF 30mm f/3.5 R WR Lens, the 12th GF lens in its lineup, has the maximum aperture of F3.5 and the focal length of 30mm (equivalent to 24mm in the 35mm film format).

New Sony RX Camera Rumored with the World’s First Full Frame Curved Sensor

Sony is rumored to announce a New RX Camera with the World’s First Full Frame Curved Sensor on January 26. This Sony RX Camera will feature a lens that is faster than the Sony RX1R II (which has a Zeiss 35mm f/2.0 lens).

As you might remember that several days ago Sony Japan posted a teaser for a new product announcement with the motto “The one never seen”. In addition to the new Sony RX camera, Sony is also expected to unveil the highly anticipated 8K full frame mirrorless camera (Sony a9 III) on January 26, 2021. Confirmed : Nikon Z7 Sensor is Made by Sony

It is now confirmed that the sensor inside the Nikon Z7 camera is made by Sony. TechInsights (previously known as Chipworks) published their reports on the sensors inside the Nikon Z7.

According to this report, Nikon Z7 uses the Sony IMX309BQJ sensor. The sensor is offered with 45.7 megapixels. We know the benefits of the backlit BSI sensor from Sony’s A7R Mark III.
