According to recent announcement from Olympus, the new super telephoto zoom lens Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-400mm f/4.5 TC 1.25x IS PRO will be released in winter of 2020.
The Olympus 150-400mm F4.5 Pro lens will be stabilized and work with the 5-axis IS systems built into modern Olympus cameras for extra shake reduction. Fully weather-sealed lens from Olympus could work at temperatures as low as -10°C/+14°F. Olympus also unveiled a new lens roadmap, showcasing a new 8-25mm lens as well as a telephoto macro. It is now confirmed that the Sony a7S III camera coming this Summer with a new image sensor and redesigned whole system.
dpreview has just posted a new interview with Sony Manager Kenji Tanaka. From this interview the most important part is that the long awaited Sony a7S II successor a7S III will be released later this Summer. Since Sony has already registered two new camera codes: WW271448 and WW850128, the WW271448 looks like to be the Sony a7S III. Official announcement will be in next months.
The interview also underlines that the a7S III will be a complete redesign of the whole system, including the image sensor. According to Mr. Kenji Tanaka the Sony a7S III will meet many professionals and high-end users’ demands and will enjoy the new camera.
